That's true, but a habitual drinker who abstains from alcohol is still an alcoholic, and in the DS universe, a witch who abandons her powers is still very much a witch.

Ack, another instance in which a character can speak sentences while being choked. Sky even managed to let out an AUGH before collapsing.
I, for one, am happy to see the the Real Housewife act come to an end, though I hope Angelique gets to keep the trophy wife wardrobe. The blue two-piece suit looks stunning on LP, and the fall blended perfectly with her own hair. She got some terrific dialogue here too, especially in her scene with the Q-man. ("Well, don't just stand there, Quentin. Kiss me.") Did Gordon Russell really write it?
You can hear the terrace fountain start burbling while Angelique was still standing over Sky... so if the crew was in such a hurry to get to the next scene, you'd think they would also make sure KLS was in place for it.
That was just marvelous, MT. (Was it only 2 hugs?)

Someone, I guess KLS, walks behind Barnabas during his close-up.

When and how did this tradition of very long "friendship hugs" between Barnabas and Maggie start? We get two in this episode... It should be a personal rule for Barnabas, end the friendship hugs the second Ang turns up again. Ang on the rebound starts to cause trouble within 24 hours!

We have Nicholas (who admitted to not having the powers he once had) siccing Sky (who is is as powerless as he is clueless) on Angelique (whose powers are at full strength). It's pretty clear who will win that round.
Nicholas to Megan: "Burning a corpse merely disposes of a body; the spirit of that body cannot be burned."
The author of that little nugget was Gordon Russell, who also penned ep #1001 set in 1970 PT in which [spoiler]Quentin torches his wife's coffin in an attempt to destroy both her body and spirit.[/spoiler] Forgetful much?

As she prepares to leave her husband, she begins packing the same little blue suitcase that has made the rounds at Collinwood and that probably wouldn't hold enough toiletries, clothing and shoes to get her through a single day.

(PS, the flame on that torch was beautiful.) I didn't see any particular internal struggle, but in the closing scene, at least he managed to get some enthusiasm into his voice as he held the fire out to Angelique.Sky bad. Fire pretty.

I see what you mean-- it's $20 on the order form, though it's $10 on this page. I think they're including the bus ride ("Fans who do not need transportation can purchase tickets ... directly from the Vista Theatre box-office"), which on the flier page is listed as costing $10, though the update above lists the cost of transportation at $15. It's confusing!

At 12:30pm on 7-16, Jonathan will be honored with a handprints-in-cement ceremony at the historic Vista Theatre in LA/Hollywood (a short distance from the hotel). Following the ceremony, the 1970 MGM motion picture HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS, starring Jonathan, will be shown on the big screen inside the theatre from a pristine 35 mm print.

The beautifully-restored Egyptian-style Vista is more than 75 years old and located not far from the hotel, at the intersection of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards, 3 blocks east of Vermont Ave., in Los Feliz (Los Angeles).
The $10 admission for the ceremony/screening includes popcorn and a soft drink. Tickets are limited. For an additional $15, round-trip bus transportation will be provided to and from the Marriott Hotel to the Vista. The movie will finish at approximately 3pm, allowing attendees time to return to the Marriott before the Fest opens at 6pm.
Fans who want bus transportation must send their reservation/payment by postal-mail to the Fest address below before July 10.
Fans who do not need transportation can purchase tickets for $10 each directly from the Vista box office during afternoon/evening operating hours (after 4pm weekdays or after 2pm weekends)

BANQUET WITH JONATHAN FRID & OTHER DS GUESTS
On 7-18 at 7pm, join the guests for a 3-course dinner in the hotel Ballroom, followed by door prizes and after-dinner entertainment. Each banquet attendee will receive a commemorative Barnabas Collins photo (from the original negative) with a personalized autograph by Jonathan. The banquet price (includes signed picture) is only $50 per person and is non-refundable. Advance reservations are required and must be received by July 10. Send payment to the Fest address below.
Please Note: Jonathan appears at the Fest only on Sat., 7-17 and Sun., 7-18. His autograph will be available only to those attending the banquet. If you are paying for the banquet, your first name will be personalized on the photograph - no exceptions. NO REFUNDS for the banquet for any reason, but if you must cancel, you will be sent your Barnabas photo autographed by Jonathan.

Every picture captures a unique moment and mood, and each person has an individual experience. In this way, fans who can not be with us can enjoy the convention through your sharing.
Please also send - at any time – any mentions you may find about the DS personnel and their projects, the new DS film, DS merchandise, or other DS-related news/references.
Please send all materials to the SG addresses below.
You will be named as a Contributor in upcoming print issues. You also may receive a complimentary Contributor's Copy for major donations of information, funds, postage stamps, supplies, publicity, assistance, etc.
The next print issue SG newsletter is a HUGE Double SG #117-#118. It will be ready very soon for all current postal-mail subscribers. The issue, subsequent SGs, and future SG Online Updates also will cover all the latest official DS-related news
Subscription information for the ShadowGram Newsletter print issues follows. When your order arrives, I will mail you the new SG #117-#118 Double Issue newsletter to begin / renew your subscription. SG #119 and subsequent issues will be sent to you and all postal-mail subscribers as they are published.
