they obviously went to alot of trouble having it painted, and i'll bet somewhere on a cutting room floor there is a scene, or scenes, of someone noting the resemblance between it and vicki.

I think one of the coolest reimaginings is Josette's constant presence in Vicki's life.  So what do Josette fans think of her ghost's manipulation of a living person?  It seemed that on Widow's Hill, it was Vicki that came to the realization that there was only one way she and Barnabas could have a future together, and Vicki that made the decision to end her own life in order to be with him... or was it?

i'm still confused about the scene with barnabas catching fire. it didn't necessarily call out "vampire". just that he was, what?, i'm not sure?

And it happened right after he demonstrated one of his super powers while saving David's life.

It makes more sense that something went on between B & V at the party for her to wistfully tell him on the balcony that she knew she had caught his eye, which then led to their first kiss.

Both DS actresses will discuss and sign their DS-related books at different Los Angeles-area locations in the next few days.

Lara (Angelique) will autograph the newly-released reprintings of her first 2 DS novels, each with a new cover. "Angelique's Descent" is her own story of her character's life from childhood all the way to Collinsport, and her efforts to win his heart but ultimately cursing him instead. Lara wrote a new chapter for this printing. "The Salem Branch" explores her 1690s DS character, the witch Miranda DuVal, who is caught up in the Salen Witch Hunt hysteria. Both novels also intertwine their character back-stories with stories about the Collins Family in 1970s Collinsport.

Kathryn (Maggie) will autograph the new "Return to Collinwood" history book/photo album co-authored with Jim Pierson. It looks at DS' 45 years, including the new Johnny Depp/Tim Burton DS movie. She, Lara, David Selby, and the late Jonathan Frid traveled to England last year to film brief cameos for a party scene in the movie..
