"No other soap had as many couple combinations considered as this one."  Interesting!  The writer was referring to B&Ang or B&Jul, but back in the day it was B&Jos-- actually, the romanticized ideal of Barn & Josette-- that impressed me the most.  (And then I grew up.  )

**** LARA PARKER & KATHRYN LEIGH SCOTT -
LOS ANGELES BOOK-SIGNINGS / Q&A SESSIONS

Both DS actresses will discuss and sign their DS-related books at different Los Angeles-area locations in the next few days.

Lara (Angelique) will autograph the newly-released reprintings of her first 2 DS novels, each with a new cover. "Angelique's Descent" is her own story of her character's life from childhood all the way to Collinsport, and her efforts to win his heart but ultimately cursing him instead. Lara wrote a new chapter for this printing. "The Salem Branch" explores her 1690s DS character, the witch Miranda DuVal, who is caught up in the Salen Witch Hunt hysteria. Both novels also intertwine their character back-stories with stories about the Collins Family in 1970s Collinsport.

Kathryn (Maggie) will autograph the new "Return to Collinwood" history book/photo album co-authored with Jim Pierson. It looks at DS' 45 years, including the new Johnny Depp/Tim Burton DS movie. She, Lara, David Selby, and the late Jonathan Frid traveled to England last year to film brief cameos for a party scene in the movie..

Barnes & Noble Bookstore at The Grove at Farmer's Market, Los Angeles. Kathryn will sign and hold a DS discussion from 7:00-8:30pm. A DS gift raffle also will be held.

Thursday, May 17:
Arclight Cinema at Sherman Oak's Galleria, Sherman Oaks, CA. (7:30pm) Kathryn will sign in the gift shop at the theatre where the new DS movie is playing.

Sun., June 3:
El Segundo Library, 111 W. Mariposa Ave., El Segundo, CA 90245. Lara will autograph and discuss her 2 novels from 12:45 - 4:45pm.
