Roger Davis VO. It's day. Tim's in I Ching Land. I made a note in my notes that I think it's silly for a vest to have lapels, which Tim's does. Tim thrown a major wobbly over seeing a premonition of Amanda's death by Quentin. He cares, I guess. We see Amanda's room at Collinwood, very decorated, not the sober look of the present.
Let me pause here to point out an incongruity.
Q's Tate portrait = immortality.
Anyone else's Tate portrait = impermanence.
Everyone's good today, including Roger Davis. He's hard to take, but he's good at that. Tate is troubled and cares about these issues he's wrestling with, and is clearly disturbed and overwhelmed by it all, including his feelings for Amanda. Davis manages all this just fine. This is basically the Life Throws Half a Dozen Crazy Possessive Suitors at Amanda episode. It wasn't by V Welles though was it?
Tate takes Quentin's portrait. Lock that thing up, Q.
