Calendar Events / Announcements '12 II / Shadows at Sea
« on: July 31, 2012, 06:54:33 AM »
Jim Pierson announced at the Luncheon that Next Years "even" may be a Dark Shadows New York based Cruise. Cruises can cost $1000 and up (i guess you can spit it with a roommate). But so can a trip to California. West Coast fan will have to pay for both the airfare to New York and the Cruises it's self. What do you think of this Idea? Will some not be able to afford it?

If you are a Citi Bank Credit card holder here are a list of screenings nationwide May 7-9
http://www.citiprivatepass.com/landing/dark_shadows.html.  You can catch it earlier in the week and pretend you are physic at the the Hollywood event.

I went on my Fandango app on my iPhone and ordered tickets to the 12:01 AM  screening of dark shadows at the AMC Loews theater on US 1  South in New Brunswick.  So if anyone who is not going to the screening in Hollywood wants to see the movie they are welcome to join me.  12:01  or whenever the previous are over will be almost an hour earlier than when those screening will start at 10 PM Pacific time in Hollywood.
This stadium seating megaplex that was built in the late 90s actually has its own macabre element to it.   There is an actual grave dating back to the 1800s in the  rear section  this theaters parking.   They just built the parking lot around it. It has even been featured  in Weird New Jersey.

As of last night they are in August of 1966 meaning they have already progressed around 3 mounts since the season premiere around memorial day. Maybe by the time they get through the next three episodes before it will be March 1967.

What i am suggesting for us here on the East Coast who don't want to fly west for a one day event. We should find a big Theatre here in the New York Tri state area with a midnight opening on the 11th (if they have one) coordinate an unofficial event. Midnight here would be 9pm in Hollywood meaning we would be able to see the movie an hour ahead of the Vista showing at 10pm PDT.  Any suggestions for a good central location here in greater New York?

Am interpreting the trailer correctly that Elizabeth, Roger, Vicki aeverone at Collinwood and all of Collinsport know Barabas is Vampire?
Wonder if Burton regrets not having all of Gotham City know that Batman is  Bruce Wayne .
