Current Talk '13 II / Dark Shadows coming to ME TV
« on: October 10, 2013, 11:45:07 PM »
I read that Dark Shadows may be coming to MeTV. For me this would kind of suck because  though the Mercer County portion My Cable System Comcast of Central NJ gets ME TV as a sub channel of Allentown, PA but the Middlesex county portion of the system dose not get any MeTV affiliate. FiOS and DrecTv have  MeTV  on WZME from Bridgeport, CT. But i hear they preempt quite a bit of MeTV's schedule with informercials. Maybe i can just keep pace with MeTV using my DS DVDs.

I't Caleb Morley from Port Charles I do not think McBain they just look alike they could be brothers separated at birth. It has not been established is Caleb being a Vampire translates to the General Hospital Universe other then in the head of Lucy Coe.

Why April? Many of the same scheduling problems faced by both teachers and students that want to attend that they are facing with the October/November Cruse. Why not wait until June? it would also give people more notice to plan out a trip.

Wasn't ABC planing transfer Gorden Russel then the head writer One Life to Live to same position on General Hospital at the time of his death in 1981?

Current Talk '12 II / If Dark Shadows ever did a Christmas Storyline?
« on: December 25, 2012, 04:54:08 AM »
I have read that Dan Curtis always wished he could find a way to do  A Christmas Carol Dark Shadows or was just do  A Christmas Carol with the DS cast. Either way the Holiday never seemed to come to Collinsport in any time period or timeline  late December was like any other time of year lots of rain and thunder.

Barnabas and Julia help must save Jolly Old St Nicholas and power of Christmas from the clutches of Nicholas Blair or Count Petofi?

8 Days seems like long time in October/November. During July/August  it would seem a little more covenant for many of us. I have done 8 Day trips for the Fest in California. When you account for airfare, hotels,Theme Parks, Studio tours and rent a cars it can cost almost as much as a cruse. But Beyond the 3 days of the Fest the rest of the time is for me to do what i want. 8 Days on a cruse seems very structured in both activities and meals. You can't just roam free or seek out the best food options. My parents have also pointed out to me that it is during Hurricane season. I have to think about it long and hard.

An 8 day cruise from late October and early November seems like could be a bit inconvenient to any regular fest goers who are either a teachers or a students. True Halloween time and DS seem to go hand and hand but people would much easier devote 8 days to a Vacation from late July to early August.
