I don't know if this was posted elsewhere but if you have a AAA membership the cost of a room is $111.00 per night which is cheaper than the DS Festival rate of $129.00-the discount applies from Thursday through Sunday.

Thanks Jimbo for the tip I just changed to a AAA reservation will save around $60. I also cashed in Citi Thank You credit card rewards points for Marriott gift cards.

Nicholas Blair would proably be involved in the story too wating a favor or to use a power that the Lepercons have.

It would have been that big a stretch for Dark Shadows to have a storyline around StPatrick's day involving the Lepercons. It Might have been a good stroryline Willie, David and Amy.

Does any one know when the 2010 festival order form will be posted? I was able to get a flight on on Jet Blue from JFK to Burbank that gets in around 11am the 16th. Anybody know what the special pre-fest event going on in the afernoon is? I got the Hertz club gold 50% off with my AAA membership so I should be able to pick up my rent car without waiting in line and then it is a very very short drive to the hotel Marriott. I sill wish i had a good excuse to drive the 2800 miles in my Honda Civic.

Current Talk '10 I / Re: HODS Amazon video on demand

When i tried to buy it though amazon on my Blu-ray player it would only give me the option to rent at $2.99. It ened up free because Amazon gave me a $5 credit for registering  Blu-ray player for Amazon On Demand and linking it to my amazon acount. You can also Rent or buy the MPI DS Volumes (DVD version) or episodes on the Amazon On Demand.

I rented HODS from Amazon tonight through my Blu-ray player (have to use a long Ethernet wire to hook it into my router) . It was nice to watch in widescreen on a 40 inch widescreen TV and other then the choppy red letters in the opening credits you for the most part you could not tell it was being streamed from the internet. The overall picture looked no better then my VHS copy and the DVD transfers I made of it. Since this was the first time i used the Amazon rental service (it did not give me the option to buy) the gave me a $5.00 credit  for  activating the service and  linking it to my Amazon Account the $2.99 rental was free.

At This point hope they Put them out on Blu-ray as well and as rell as giving us a restored NODS witch i  would gess  would be High Deffinition give us HD remastered HODS as well. Mabey they could use some digital effects to make the night scenes that were shot during the day look like they were shot at night. But that might be taking it a bit to far.

I'm not sure if anybody posted this yet. Joseph Gordon-Levitt who played David & Daniel in the 1991 series is hosting Saturday Night Live on  November 21st.

If Comcast buys a controing 51% intrest in NBC Universal  as is rumored you would think their would be a good chance of them adding the NBC Universal owned Chiller to their cable systems.

EXIT 13A  Do not take Exit 13 that would be the wrong Exit

NJ Turnpike Exit 13A to Route 1/9 (Spring Street) North  the hotel is on the other side of the street You will have to use the U Turn on the  McClennan Street overpass that is the way I know.
I think you may also be able to hit it from Exit 14 going  south on 1/9 (Spring Street).
