JULIA: (thinking to herself) If I find my underwear drawer pilfered through again when I get back to Collinwood, I'm gonna have some talk for Mrs. Johnson!

Anyone know if Ruth Warrick and JOAN BENNETT crossed paths/were friends during their Hollywood years, or perhaps later, when both were doing daytime in NYC? And wouldn't it have been unique for Joan to have made a cameo on "All My Children" in the 80's, portraying Louis' (Langley's) sister?
Also trippy that both of Ruth's TV husbands were also on Dark Shadows (her first hubby on AMC, Dr. Charles Tyler, played by HUGH FRANKLIN, was the Collins family lawyer in '66).

A very happy birthday to you, Dom -

may all your wishes come true. You've granted many for us.

TONY PETERSON: Now really, Miss Hoffman, you didn't have to go and SWALLOW your little red notebook.... I would have hidden it in my safe if you'd asked nicely.

JULIA: Aaawk! Gak! Choke! Anything to save on attorney's fees. Gulp! Cough!

Holy Hoffman!!! Fantastic poll!
Gotta love that Dijon Yellow number she was wearing in #2. Tightest dress Julia ever wore, and if memory serves me, that particular day she was running all over Collinwood looking for Amy, slapping Joe Haskell, pronouncing Elizabeth dead, comforting Carolyn...
My favorite remains the pink nightie she wore over to Chris Jennings' cottage. No doubt the animals in the underbrush got an eyeful that day.

TOM JENNINGS: Ahhhh, oohhhhh, yeah, that feels wild, Angelique.... just don't leave any fang marks down there like you did on my neck.... Dr. Hoffman wouldn't have enough bandages to cover it!

JULIA: Go on, Barnabas, pull my finger. (thinking to herself) Boy, that bean casserole of Mrs. Johnson's sure is gaseous!

why am i having a faint memory of a similar incident at Chez Sandor about 1 year ago???

My fair gypsy, if the memory is faint, it must have been YOUR finger, and I did the pulling. Like Barn & Julia, we know each other well... ;)

Can't improve on your caption, Countess. Leave it to Julia to play doctor... even right outside the front doors of Collinwood.  Hope she waits until they go inside to check Barn's prostate!

TOM: Mr. Blair, when you said "I'll show you mine if you show me yours," I never thought I'd require a flashlight to see yours!

NICHOLAS: Well, Mr. Jennings, I am a warlock, not a porn star. Regardless, Sandor, Jennifer and Gothick will be joining us shortly for "your" portion of "Show And Tell."

505
JULIA: Eat your heart out, Liza Minnelli.... "I want to be a part of it... New York, New Yoooooooorrrrrkkkk!"

506
WILLIE: Face it, Julia, this was bound to happen. You've seen how nasty Barnabas gets with those door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesmen...!

507
Mrs. J:  Miss Hoffman, are you feeling alright? What are you doing with those drapes??
J:  Mrs. Johnson, get out your sewing kit...you're going to make me a BRAND NEW dress!

She saw it in the window, and just had to have it!

JULIA: Go on, Barnabas, pull my finger. (thinking to herself) Boy, that bean casserole of Mrs. Johnson's sure is gaseous!

CASSANDRA: Those nuns warned me this would happen if I touched myself improperly.

JULIA: ..so if Burke starts getting fresh with you, Vicki, give him one of these in his temple. It may knock him out, but that'll give you ample time to frisk his drawers for a "sound check." How do you think I was able to find out what Barnabas was packin'?!
