I was Yahooing for KLS, when I came upon this page:

I really never realized how busy Roger Davis was.
"The Roger Davis Gallery"!!! And no paintings of Charles Delaware Tate??? I love the following photo  http://www.asjcollection.com/current/graphics/rd39.jpg  I guess we can now prove he shovels it on a bit heavy sometimes  ;)

Barnabas cleverly follows the notes in the Playboy Advisor, lights the Patchouli incense, puts on "Olatunji's Drums of Passion" on the hi-fi, lets in the moonlight and prepares to ask Vickie if she'd like to see his first edition "Kama Sutra."

Chris: Well yeah Barnabas, I do have some issues of Playboy I could lend you. Do you want the one with the great Huey Newton interview or do ya just wanna look at the picture?
Barnabas: Do you have the one with the "Bunnies of the NYC Playboy Club '66"?

David, I don't know anything about the birds and the bees. Alls I know was both the mister and I drank a fifth of "Old Grandad" and 9 months later I had this ugly, squealing rugrat.  [bawl]

TV Party,  [flower] a pretty cool website on vintage viewing, currently has an article in "Alias Smith and Jones", which featured Roger Davis, originally as its narrator and guest star, and later a replacement lead under tragic circumstances. Here's a link to the article. (Unfortunatley it doesn't mention DS, but many of you will be amused at the descrition of Roger   [a345])

Upset that his storyline was never adapted into the series, the cast is aghast when they witness The Phantom of the Opera strangling the teleprompter.  :o

"The pocket protector crowd"????? Chiller is about as far as you can get from the image of Star Trek/computer geek fans you can get at a convention. Diane has dubbed it "the realm of black t-shirts." The crowd at Chiller overall (not everyone but the majority) is a mixtures of rocker looking types. It looks more like an group ready to head bang at AC/DC mixed with the Slayer and hard Goth types. Again, an article written by someone who probably watched the trailer for "Trekkies" and said, "Okay, done my research." Sheesh. Let's hope this guy doesn't cover DS's 40th!

Stephanie Powers, along with Leslie Ann Warren, was one of my first crushes as a little boy. This gentleman prefers brunettes. Leslie was later a hot vampire on "Night Gallery." I'm sorry I don'y have cable right now to catch this one.

I just wanted to note this weekend, (the 4th specifically) is Diane's and my 5th wedding anniversary. Diane and I met in person the first time at the '98 DS convention in Las Vegas after being part of the old DS Sunday night chats on AOL. Things are still great.  Looking forward to 40 more years [love3]

I really liked this two part episode of Gunsmoke that featured Kathy Cody. I enjoy watching the guest appearances of the Dark Shadows Cast members on other shows.
Among my favorites are Thayer David's two appearence on "The Wild, Wild West". That series is overdue for a TV-DVD box set. I also like John Karlen on "The Magician" with Bill Bixby.  [toothy1]

On this week's episode of "Queer Eye...", designer Thom Felicia dresses as Barnabas to help Thayer David for an evening with Alexandra, "..and right here, I think track lighting..."

Joe:The Sci-Fi Channel can't drop us, they said we'd be on forever once I got their logo tatooed on my chest.
Lela: Joe, the deal was you were supposed to get the tatoo on your forehead!
