The Sleepy Hollow Cemetery , final resting place of Washington Irving, Andrew Carnegie and many others, is having 2 special "House of Dark Shadows" evening walking tours in honor of this weekend's Dark Shadows events in Tarrytown. The times are Friday and Saturday evenings. Reservations suggested. Here's the link to the info> I suspect they are still available as I was able to reserve two today. See you scare...there.

Happy Birthday Citizen!

Thanks Charles,
It just proves that IMDB can be in error or incomplete. BTW, she is Hank Garrett's date on that episode, not Fred Gwynn's date. The scene also has Al Lewis and Charlotte Rae as scene stealing Schnausers. Marie's unlisted credits on IMDB should also apparently are missing a Phil Silvers show I saw reference to on her website.

Calendar Events / Announcements '12 I / "Lost" Marie Wallace credit?
« on: April 04, 2012, 04:44:36 AM »
Ooooh, Oooooh. I had fallen asleep on the couch with MeTV running Saturday, and woke up to "Car 54 Where Are You?" which I have loved since I was a kid. Part of the plot had Officer Nicholson (Hank Garrett) talking to his partner Officer Schnauser (Al "Grandpa" Lewis) about his date with a hot redhead, a "real tomato." At the very end of the episode, I would swear his date turned out to be Marie Wallace. The actress is not listed in the credits, which is why this would escape being listed on Car 54's imdb credits. Anyone know for sure? The title of the episode was "One Sleepy People" from Season 2.

In memory of the late Davy Jones, MeTV , which is what TVLand used to be like, will be running an episode of "Love American Style" in which Davy co-stars with DS's Kathy Cody. This airs at 1:30 pm ET. Davy and Kathy play newlyweds I believe. This follow a Love American Style with Davy and Karen Valentine, and the classic Davy Jones episode of The Brady Bunch at 12:30 pm ET. For more Davy Jones, Antenna TV is running a Monkees marathon concurrently.

Wow!!!!! If only they could add John Karlen.  [ghost_grin]

Ok, she wasn't on Shadows, but hey, Dawn Wells ! Who doesn't love the vampire or Jekyll/Hyde episodes, or the classic Vito Scotti episodes of Gilligan. [ghost_cheesy]

Met Roy Thinnes today. A truly great guy and an easy person to chat with. No "Trask" photos tho.  [ghost_sad]

Hi all,
Thanks for the well wishes.  [ghost_smiley] We had a nice visit to Baltimore and went to the Edgar Allan Poe house and to his final resting place. These are musts if you ever visit Bal'more. We had dinner a Fells Point, an old section of town, at the famous Bertha's, and took the Fells Point Ghost Tour. All in all a great way to celebrate.

The upcoming documentary film, "Virginia Creepers" now has a trailer on U-Tube. Here's a link :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYEy6a5WLIM

The film will trace the old local Horror Hosts of Virginia and nearby from the mid 1950s through the present. I am happy to have been one of the fan interviewees and contributors who will be in the film.  The website is lots of fun too, so have a look there as well.

Thanks for all the great birthday wishes.   [ghost_cheesy] Diane and I celebrated while at the Monster Mania show in Cherry Hill NJ this past weekend. We had a great time and I got to meet one of my favorites, John Astin of the "Addams Family" ! I'm a huge '66 Batman fan too, so I got not only a Gomez photo, but one where he did a one -shot as the Riddler when Frank Gorshin was unavailable. Got to sit in the Batmobile too. We also got to meet David Naughton, Michael Berryman, PJ Soles and the legendary Dick Miller, a regular in both Joe Dante and Roger Corman films. We also got  into downtown Philadelphia and to the Hard Rock Cafe (# 12 so far for me), the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania and Benjamin Franklin's gravesite. Unfortunately, Constitution Hall tours sold out for that day.  A fine day anyway.
Great to have been back at the festival this year. Great seeing my Collinwood family again.
