Acting drunk should be very hard to do, yet most actors seem to be able to do it.   Joel Crothers is good at it.   I like Carolyn's first reaction to Joe showing up drunk: "You're potted!", with a smirk.

Yes, Joel Crothers was a pretty darn good actor.

“You’re potted” “Yeah, I’m a drunken palm.”

Where are Carolyn’s bouncy, bouncy curls? Maybe they hadn’t discovered Dippity Do yet.
I must say that whoever is styling Liz’ hair must have been a reject alien hair stylist from Star Trek. Yikes!

Joe calls Bob Rooney Andy. I guess Bob’s name hadn’t been established?

OMG! Where do they get these people who think they can dance?

Burke says to Roger about David hanging around Burke being corrupting: "A little late for that."   Did he just let on to Roger that he knows David did it?

Yes, that was a great line.

Somebody starch up Burke’s rain coat or what? Or it’s too big for him or something. Almost looks like he's wearing a cape with sleeves.

Seemed like Mitch was having issues with his dialogue. He even played Chopsticks lousy.

I don't think there was a string. The movement of the wipers made me think that.

Welcome to the famous car set! Its windshield wipers work perfectly--and stay perfectly dry.

What??? I was waiting for the wiper motor to konk out. Seemed to me like somebody off camera was pulling them back and forth with a string or something. Hysterical!

Things could hardly be worse, could they? In the real universe, Elizabeth would give Vicki a generous severance package and a good reference to keep her from blabbing. David would be packed off to reform school or some military school, which would completely ruin him. Elizabeth belatedly would have to start training Carolyn to be the next Mistress of Collinwood--but of course, that would mean Carolyn would actually have a job.  [ghost_blink]

Love it.

I was wondering last night about what would happen to David in the real world. I suppose he would have ended up in therapy.

You know, if this kid wasn’t maniacal already, his anger and desperation to get that bleeder valve back has totally pushed him over the edge. It looked like Vicky was going to lose the struggle there for a moment. And if she’d been smart, she would have kept that valve on her person.

Carter, who realizes he hasn’t had lunch yet, offers up some coffee. Yikes, first it was Maggie pushing coffee on her pop for breakfast. Is it any wonder that the people of Collinsport are so slim? All they ever eat is coffee.
Wait. Carter orders a ham sandwich – real food! But he doesn’t like mustard. Freak. We have the ever popular container of coffee. How about ordering a coffee on rye – hold the mustard – and a container of ham?

Here we go with the Collins’ pressure. Heh. Carter will have none of it. Not even if he has to sacrifice being re-elected.

What is the bigger crime in this episode – that David had the bleeder valve in his possession or mustard loathing?
