Does anyone know what a checker checks?

I would imagine the checker checks on the boats going out and coming in, that the crews are all accounted for, pounds of sardines they brought in and maybe he goes out into the cannery and checks on the workers and the machinery.

Man, there is a lot going on in this episode.

Food and or drink comment of the day: In the space of a few sentences regarding Bill’s arrival at the cottage, coffee is mentioned seven times. Seven!
In Burke’s phone conversation with Carolyn, he tells her he’s leaving for Bangor in the morning. There’s chit chat about her ring. She asks him what time he’s leaving for Bangor. He tells her 1:00. She then tells him that she’ll meet him in the hotel at 1:30. Huh???
Finally, Bill is tired of coffee.

Evidently Roger pulled the bandage off himself while he was eavesdropping on Sam and Burke.

You know, I thought so too and I'm like, why would he do such a thing in whatever room he's in and what did he do with it?

If I were Sam I would have told Roger a few choice words and kicked him the hell out of my house.

Fill in the blank:

Rog: Gad! These brazil nuts sure are hard to open! Maybe I should use a _______ to crack them.

Set up:

Maggie: Pop, do you smell something strange?
Sam: Oh. Sorry, honey. That was just _________ .

All right. All right. Hold the phone. The picture of the costume gala people - somebody tell me what the person wearing the jackass head is supposed to be in regard to DS.

Sorry the set ended.  I'll be in somewhat the same position somewhere past ep #100, possibly.

Well, I have volumes 3 & 4, so I'll be picking it up at some point. Then after that, it's nothing until episode 400 or something. Bummer.

          WELCOME, DAVID THAYER'S BACK!

NOW it's Dark Shadows!   For the record, his first line: "Lookin' for somethin', miss?"   And for the first time, in this scene... Angelique's music!

Oh, how cool!

Vicky just can’t shut up about the ghosts, can she?

I don’t know why Burke would want to push Matthew’s buttons. Matthew is not only scary looking, he’s big.

Carolyn is acting like such an idiot, it hurts to watch. (Just a figure of speech. I don’t have volume two of the set. Thank goodness for Robservations and the screen caps. That’s all I have to say.)

Liz blows on Carolyn’s locks to cool them when Carolyn explains that her hair rollers were extremely toasty.
