Messages - Janet the Wicked

If that's the case, then what might he dream up next?  Maybe a Dark Shadows Mexican bus tour, with a Grayson Hall impersonator leading us all in a singalong.

That would be wicked!!!! Count me in!

I would consider this, beg, borrow and steal money if there were more actors going on the trip.

I've seen stones around here with Barnabas on them. Doesn't surprise me if they actually did get the idea in a cemetary.

Nice to see they cleaned up the Evans cottage front yard.

It never seemed to me that it should be the end of the world for Barnabas, if someone sees his coffin.  It's a pretty big leap from "The Old House has a coffin the basement" to "This confirms that my cousin is a vampire!", unless you already believe in vampires...  Barnabas could say "It was here when I moved in."

True, but wouldn't you think it a triffle strange that your cousin didn't have it removed? Wouldn't you begin to wonder why you never see this guy in the day time?

All right. This family has no TV. At least we never see one. But "The Fearless Vampire Killers" came out in 67. Wouldn't you think at least somebody in that family would have seen it? And all that literature. They just have no clue about vampires. Come on!

I just ordered the film from Amazon for $9.99. A guilty pleasure this film is for me, but I love it. It's so much fun!

Oh, hell, yeah. There'll be a costume thing for sure.

Crazy busy at work. I don't have the current episodes on DVD to comment on the watching project. And I don't have access to the Forum at work anymore, which is where I did 99% of my posting. (During my lunch break!)

What? Gee, I never thought anyone ever noticed me.

Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been working split shifts, and as my true age comes in to fruition, so are the days of my life. Wait a minute. I had a vision of an hour glass in mid afternoon... McDonald Carey... Oxydol commercials...

Gerard, excellent post. I went on a cruise to Bermuda and it was heavenly. I would really like to book a cabin, as I love being on the water. And speaking of water, it's so dang blue and clear in Bermuda, you can see a penny in the sand fifty feet down.
There is quite a bit of tipping, but the staff earns it, believe me. And they are people that are working their butts off to support their families. I had such a pleasant experience on the cruise I was on. I was a vegetarian at the time. When you sat down to dinner, they handed you a menu, and you could order anything and everything you could possibly want. Our table mates often ordered practically everything on the menu, just to try it. It was all included in the deal. But there was plenty of veggie options, actually more than enough. They have banquets at midnight, themes like Italian night or Hawaiian night. They floated ice sculptures and fruit in the swimming pool and there was a discotheque.
You're also right about not doing the tourist thing. We rented a Hesper(?) motor bike and went all over the island. There's the usual tourist crap, but if you don't like that stuff, you can do anything you want to. I remember I thought I was so smart to buy rum down there for a friend. Turns out you can get it here cheaper.
I'd love to do this thing, but I'm in the poor house. Don't know if I can do it.
I gotta tell you, though. I think spending Halloweeny on a cruise ship would be wicked!

Not bad here in north central Mass. I did have to go into work and driving was a bit tricky, but the storm just kind of mellowed out around nine P.M. Beautiful day today.

That sounds in league with the message I have on my screen: "You may be a victim of software conterfeiting". Whe you click on it, it brings you to Microsoft's website with an offer to update your Windows program. And it ain't free. We were looking at this last night at work. It appears to only affect XP users.
