Then he gets a bit more time to gear up, as stock film is shown of amiable, Sears catalogue model Roger with coat over shoulder, waving hi to underlings.   He walks a long way like that, which appears silly and uncomfortable to me.

Why is it uncomfortable? I have walked on that dock several times with my jacket slung over my shoulder. The one time I was uncomfortable was when it was drizzling. At any rate, it's supposed to show Roger on his way to the cannery. He waves. At whom? Does he have friends at work? I doubt it. Now that's uncomfortable.

Sheriff: “Thank you for coming in, Sarah.”
Mrs. J: “Never mind that, George. I only want to know one thing from you--who killed Mr. Malloy?”

Ahhh… Our beloved Mrs. Johnson. Kind of gets you right there, doesn't she? [128]

I love the loyalty that Maggie and Sam share and I always have. It may not be the healthiest relationship in the world, but you can see that these two really love each other.

Five minutes makes such a difference to everybody...   how can anyone account for his actions minute by minute?

I don't know if Roger would have had time to kill Bill even if he did lave the house at 10:30. He would have had to set up a meeting with Bill somewhere and then catch him off guard.

Why didn’t Burke listen to the sheriff and stay in his hotel room? He is relentless in his pursuit of Bill’s murderer.

I enjoyed Liz’ killing him with kindness approach. Smooth.

Hmm… Very interesting that Maggie got all dolled up to drop in on Collinwood. Where IS Sam, anyway?

I wonder if Carolyn will get on the phone and try to warn Burke about Matthew?
