I could have sworn Vicky told Maggie that it wasn't Sam who murdered Bill Malloy, but now Maggie's saying Vicky didn't way it in so many words.  Oh, well, maybe I remembered wrong.

Maggie asked Vicki if she was talking about her father and Vicki said, "Of course not."
So yeah, a little discrepancy there.

Bartender Bob could have saved himself a lot of trouble if he woulda just left the bottle of booze at Sam's table.

(Welcome back, Dark Chick.)

Set up:

Carolyn wondered if she'd ever get to wear her new dress to a fancy place like _______ .

... the Pen had expanded to the height of a man, and was filming a documentary of the whole thing.

Roger: I did it to protect my sister--she had been through all that messy court business 10 years ago, and I didn't want to subject her to it again--I didn't think of myself.
Anybody been keeping count of the lies Roger has invested in this Bill Malloy thing?

I always enjoy the exterior shots of the Old House. That must have been quite a mansion in its day.

Unfortunately, I was unable to see just what Burke and Carolyn were dining on. But it looked like a couple of decent meals. Burke is drinking scotch or bourbon with his. Yuk!
Personally, I think Carolyn is a little too dolled up for the Blue Whale. Again, I will admit that the food there may be very good, but checkered tablecloths and scallop shell ashtrays do not spell elegance. And I wonder what “going on the town” means in Collinsport?

Don’t you just love how everybody leaves the BW without paying their bill?

Fill in the blank:

Carolyn: Uncle Roger, you look so uncomfortable. Why are you all scrunched up like that?
Roger: Mrs. Johnson put too much _________ in my shorts.

547
Fill in the blank:

David: Look, Father, I drew a picture of you hanging from the highest yardarm.
Roger: They don’t hang people in Maine anymore, you little crumb. They ______ them.

The only modern touch in Carolyn's room is a HiFi on the top of the dresser.

Carolyn's room is ghastly. The follwing items that furnish her room are positively horrid:
The sconces, the painting over her bed, the bed itself, lamp, curtains and the bureau. I don't know who was responsible for putting her bedroom together, but it does not work!

Also, you can only talk to spirits when the line is dead!

Fill in the blank:

Vicki: Carolyn, you are under my power. Can you hear me? I want you to pretend that you are a _________ !
Carolyn: Yes, Master.

Well, I will miss your comments. Will you still be doing the complete the phrase game?

I don’t know. Somehow Vicki and Carolyn’s conversation in front of Mrs. Johnson seems rude to me. It was definitely a stupid thing to do.

When Burke tells Ezra that he’ll get other men to run his plant, Ezra replies: "Fishermen, maybe, but not men who can run a cannery--they don't exist in these parts."
I don’t get this. There must have been a number of canneries up and down the coast of Maine back then. To say that nobody exists in the area that would be qualified, I think is a bit of a stretch. Burke should have called the Gorton Fish Company in Gloucester maybe.

Vicki finds out that it was Roger who lost The Pen.
