Jason: Well, Liz, it's been eighteen years. How do I look?

Jason: Don't be frightened, Lass. Coffee and lemon peel always affect me this way.

I don't have this one, and may never have seen it.  I do have #211, though, which has Willie again opening the coffin, and Barnabas saying hello.   211 is probably a more important episode, though 210 is more talked about.

If only for the dialogue, anyway. Tee hee!

Lydia, thanks for posting that old link. Talk about a blast from the past.

Can you see the familiarity between Dennis Patrick and John already? Like they’ve been working together for a long time.

I went the midnight screening last night.  Two words - "hot mess."

Were you at the Showcase Cinemas in Worcester? I drove by on my way home from work and saw quite a few vehicles in the parking area.

I definitely look forward to when we can start posting/discussing linked to and/or transcripted (if they're not online) reviews. And that actually means both the good and the bad (particularly if they're really bad because, even if it turns out that I don't agree with them, they can still be a great laugh when they're written well). So remember, the topic for that will be started at midnight...

Goody! I don't know when I'll get a chance to see the film, certainly not tomorrow, but I am anxious to hear what all of you think about it!

(I don't know what went on with the capture - but as soon as I saw it, I knew it had to be posted!)

Best to leave it for Magnus. He'll come up with something real far out, I'm sure.

Think I stopped halfway through-- the only notes I have are about the director's slate thing, where I was frustrated in my attempts to make out what the Blue Whale had on tap, even though the taps are right there in the foreground.   Does anyone who lived in New England then know if these are disguised labels for real beers?

I don't think the taps are a for real brand, but they look to be Schlitz maybe. I did a drawing of Willie sitting at the bar and tried my darndest to figure out the brand on the taps, but they look to be a couple peices of tape in a cross hatch design. Maybe MB will supply us with a super-duper close up screen cap of them.

John with that Southern accent. I’m not sure what James Hall’s Willie accent was supposed to be, and who knows what TPTB told JK about the character, but I am ever so glad the accent doesn’t last and we are soon regaled with John’s own Brooklynese inflection.

“A good heart and a good conscience are the only jewels worth having.”

“Judge not lest ye be judged.”

Isn’t Mrs. J just full of aphorisms today?

Carolyn was really looking forward to tasting Mrs. Johnson's new bean free blend of coffee, which Mrs. Johnson guaranteed would make Carolyn gas free!!
