Some of the articles about ol' Danny Boy are okay, but I can't help thinking that they are merely substandard news gossip fare.
Lets look back on the genious. It's funny, really. I have been watching some of DC's productions starring John Karlen - in fact - just watched "Trilogy of Terror" over the weekend.
I grew up on Dan Curtis" stuff.
I hope he is merrily enjoying life after death - if there is sush a thing.
I loved everything DC did.
I will miss him. I love Dark Shadows and I love the location stuff he did.
So here's to you, Dan Curtis,

I choose Russian - but only because I just played Anton Chekhov in a play I wrote for my MFA project at UCF in Orlando Fl.  It was fun playing a guy from my favorite era - the turn of the 19th- 20th century. In reality, I would have liked to see more Down- East types on the show, including Maggie and her dad, but from what I understand the accent wasn't done well by most of the actors.  The one who did a great job (He was from Medford, Mass.) was Thayer David as Matthew Morgan(the second coming).  How do I know? I grew up and lived in Maine until about 3 years ago.  Bangor, Ayuh.

PS: Dig the cheap watch I'm wearing as Chekhov - like a DS blooper- fortunately, these shots were taken AFTER one of the shows; I had put my watch on then!  And, yes, I used a Russian accent in the play.

Years ago, many moons, many, many, many moons, there was an independent TV station in Boston that broadcast these films. "The Braniac" was a little Mexican gem of a picture. Oh, how I long for those rainy Saturday afternoons sitting in front of the telly watching bad horror movies.
I think the horror host for channel 56 in those days was called "The Mad Ghoul". Yeah, I've seen and enjoyed several of these foreign horror films. Yep.

Excellent! I'm all for it. What a lovely tribute to such a fine actress!!!!!!!!!!!!!
