Liz was completely shocked, yet a bit excited despite herself, when Jason proposed that after they're married, they should shake hands to seal the deal.

The dude what announced that the part of Willie Loomis will be played by John Karlen.

Liz was totally mortified and Carolyn was angered and aghast when the truth came out that when Carolyn was just a small child, Liz had filled up the locked room in the basement with mass quantities of Dippity Do.

Happy birthday to meeeeeeeeee!

Thank you everybody for you warm wishes. Now get back to work!

You know, Liz, there are a thousand reasons why I shouldn't drink. Yep. A thousand reasons. But right now I can't think of a single one.

Sam:  I'm telling you, Burke, I didn't imagine it - I saw it right outside that window as big as life - and it was the spitting image of me!
Burke:  That was your reflection.  No more booze for you tonight, buddy.

LOL!!!! Wicked!

Didn't Luciaphil write a hysterical story on the old Lighter Side BB about how Bob the Bartender was such a cheapskate at the Blue Whale, he refused to buy any new 45s for the jukebox and just let the same 3 songs play over and over again?  I still crack up every time I think about that.

LOL! I hear ya!

I am enjoying the 3rd & 4th CD's. Love to listen to them to and from work. Takes my mind of my hellacious day. Anyway, I would like to know what year these stories take place. If it is modern day, why haven't they changed the music in the juke at the Blue Whale?

Grayson Hall was on an episode of Night Gallery that played on Chiller this morning. They seem to have a wide variety of programming. My favorite is Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Here's hoping they are considering picking up Dark Shadows. If it is available anyway.

Lori, thank you so much for sharing this intimate portrait of one of our fave actors. What a treat!
Thank goodness for You Tube as well. Goodness knows where we'd find this kind of thing anywhere else.
Again. Thank you for posting.

Barnabas was not at all pleased once he realized that Jason was completely aware that the Old House's library included a collection of sour balls.

Now, hold on there, big boy - I know you have needs, but Sam Evans and I have been going steady for years.

Well, last night we had a hell of a storm and my power is STILL out!  So I was using both my flashlight and a big scented candle (Lilac of course! ;)) to get around etc...They are saying we won't get power restored until around midnight or later today so, I'll be crashing at my parents tonight where the lights, and more importantly, the AIR CONDITIONING, work (was miserable last night in the heat).  I guess I'd say I DON'T like relying on candles and told myself this morning that I will not spend another night as if I lived at the Old House, LOL!  ;)

My goodness, Buzz. Where is it hot where you are????

I very much enjoy the wax that breaks off in mid-sentence...
