You catch the wicked bug, oh hallowed one? I'm loving your posts.

Angelique! I hope that coat is fake, girlie. It certainly looks it. I'm curious to know what happened to the spots later on in the episode.

Liz is wearing a "Snuggie" or a monk outfit. No. It's a "Snuggie".

What is that weird square stain behind Carolyn's headboard? EW!

I think Angelique is a great character. I hate her when she's wicked when she oughtn't be, but I love her when she goes after a bad seed. Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

That shadow monster reminds me of an episode of the Outer Limits that scared the pants off me when I was a kid. A woman is vacuuming and comes upon a stubborn dust bunny in a corner. It begins to grow and grow and grow! Ahhhhhhhh! Funny how a thing like that stays with you for life. I am ever cautious of dust balls in corners, and being tucked away these winter months, I have several of them.

OK. Said it before, but Carolyn's room... One word - DRAB! It brought to mind a kid I knew when I was a kid. Her family lived in a big old house. It must have been a mansion. It wasn't a three-decker. But the walls were so dingy. They looked as though they hadn't been scrubbed in ages. Sorry, but I can't get over how dreary Carolyn's room is.

Well, who's up for episode# 969? Better question: Can we take it?

He was in a lot of prime time shows in the seventies: Quincy, Kojak, Nancy Drew, All in the Family, Mannix, The Waltons, Marcus Welby, Rockford Files, etc, etc.

Carolyn's mini raincoat is fashionable and maybe sensible in a mist, but with the rains we're having around New England lately - forget it, kid.

Carolyn to Jeb: "I can't go away with you! You wear the same clothes every day, and frankly, my dear, you STINK!"

You know, one of these days I'm going to keep track of the number of times "What do you mean?" is heard on this show.

Jeez, Louise, don't these people ever sleep?

Christopher Bernau played a character named Roger on Guiding Light, I think. I remember my father coming home from work and asking us what deviltry Roger was up to that day. He got a real kick out of him.

Jeb faints. "What's happening?" It's your clothes, dude. They reek and are smothering you.

I totally agree with Robin V. about this plot twist. Why they brought back Peter Bradford to seek revenge for the abrupt death of Vicky, caused by Jeb, is just plain dumb.

LOL!!!

Heh, heh... "Barnabas, Nooooooo!!!"

Nick: “It’s all over now.”
Something tells me it was over before it ever began. What a bunch of knuckleheads. And how did Nicholas get involved?

Barnabas: "I think the time has come, Elizabeth, for you to know the truth about a great many things."
#1. I’m a vampire.
#2. I kidnapped Maggie Evans
#3. I killed Jason McGuire
Etc, etc…

How come Carolyn doesn’t have rock star posters or something befitting a young woman on her bedroom walls? Talk about a depressing room.

I sense that for a fraction of a second, Carolyn has doubts about marrying Jeb. Too bad her heart and hormones took control over her brain.

Nicholas regarding Jeb still being alive: “He's only staying alive through sheer force of will. Nothing else makes sense.”
This whole Leviathan thing didn’t make sense to me.

That stock lightning footage could have been in a zillion films and TV shows, but it sure was hillarious, wasn't it? Upsidedown lightning. Only on DS, folks.

What do you suppose Barnabas was comtemplating so intensely there in the drawing room? Perhaps he was thinking about re-stuffing the cushions in his chairs. You know, they've been flat for ages.

Jeb: I'm not what I seem." Yes, you are. To me you seem an ass and you are.

Dig (heh, heh) Quentin's coffin. Blue coffin, brown lid. Were all the tech people stoned when they made this show?

And what is with Julia? Is she ready for the Collinsport 4th of July parade or what? Red hair, blue suit, white frilly blouse. Hooray for the red, white and blue!

I wonder what delectable scenes would have transpired had Trick Nicky met up with Jason McGuire?

Zombie Role:
Did you have any luck finding work today, Jim?
Why, yes. I got a part playing a one-eyed zombie at ABC. Put away the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, darling. We are eating out in style tonight.

I'm curious to know when Nicky came back and how is is associated with the Leviathans.

LE's run in with the zombos couldn't have been more lackluster if he had yawned.

800 posts to your 8000? That's keen, you old soul-saver, you.

Collinsport Star - Wanted: Zombies. Tor Johnson look-a-likes desired. Money no object. Whoops. Scratch that. But it looks like they found their Tor.

The actor who portrays Sky may not be the greatest actor, nay, even a mediocre one, but he does come off as a rich industrialist, jet set kind of guy. IMHO anyway.

Such diabolicle goings on...

Why is there a coffin in Jeb's room? What did I miss THIS time?

Dig Roger's suit jacket. Tic tac toe, anyone?

Jeb: Cure me! Give him a sedative, Doc Hoffman, and shut him up!

And we have the infamous lamp blooper. I often ignore things that go wrong at my place of work too. It's all about the money. And retakes, I suppose.

More Quentin. Yummy yum yum....

1288
...that hot pink nail polish suited neither one of them.

Barnabas: Megan and I have had long talks.
Julia: What else have you had, Barnabas?
Whoa! Go, Julia! I almost fell off the barstool laughing at that one.

It’s probably a good thing that there is no glass in the Old House window panes. Otherwise, Barnabas would be steaming them up all the time while peering out of them, not to mention that nobody would be able to eavesdrop with any measure of success.

Stupidest question in this episode comes from Julia. “Where can we find a stake?”
Try the back yard. There’s a big old forest out there. And even so, somebody is always running around with a stake and hammer. She ought to know by now where they find them.

Why aren’t the Leviathans monitoring Jeb’s incompetent approach to be their ruler or whatever he’s supposed to be? Isn’t he just a wee bit emotional for the job? He’s acting like a kook.

I'm wondering how much more Chris can take. My god, Jim! He's been beaten, bruised, tormented, shot at...

And the Handsomest Man on the Planet Award goes to...Dave Selby. Yabba abba doo! Love the turtleneck/sports jacket ensemble.

Jeb and Bruno - they're like two 9 year old bullies that you just want to shut up in a room somewhere and feed them gruel and decaf coffee. Get a grip, boys.

OK. What's with the graves being so weirdly close together? They running out of plot space at Eagle Hill or what? And this thing where the hands reach up out of the ground. I've seen it several times (on TV, not in real life, folks) throughout my many years and always wondered ...well, it always appears that they're buried in the ground sans coffin. I mean, if you're in a coffin underground, it must take an awful lot of strength to open that lid.

Looking forward (and only for the sake of this thread) to seeing what Jeb has in store for the Collins clan. Bwah, ha , ha!
