I need a drink after watching this episode.

OK. I dig the antidote thing. But how is Yaeger able to transform back to Cyrus in record time? My god, it takes longer to tie a tie than it would for him to become Cyrus, never mind the change of clothes. Where did he go? What, is he Superman? Forgive me, but I never did get it that Clark Kent was able to transform back and forth to Superman. What did he do with his clothes? Where did he keep them?

Anyway, I thought it was cool that Pennock batted his eyelashes when he asked, "What do you mean?"

And dig Alexis. She's wearing a Vicky outfit. Frumpy from stem to stern.

EMERGENCY! FIRE! What does Cyrus do? Like any able bodied scientist, he points a finger to the sky and comes up with an idea - smother it! Very scientific.

I am of the opinion that the most screen time in the PT storyline goes to the little black and white bunny.

Mention of Maggie here. You know, I was thinking about this and I don't know if it's me, or what. But if I just got hitched to a guy, found out his family was nuts, yeah - maybe I'd run as far away as I could, but I think I would try to make some sort of compromise. I mean, if I really loved the guy...
She's been gone too long, HODS notwithstanding.

Yes! I noticed the afghan too!

Not only is my landlady a nutcase like Buffy's, but I also have earrings like Buffy's.

I think JY is the man for me. If he can convince my landlady to fix up my place, then, yes, he's my man.

I know a lot of actors will watch old movies to get an idea of what goes into playing a certain part. Not that they're copying any particular actor - it's just to see how somebody else portrayed a certain role. I think Chris Pennock is doing pretty well here. I would like to see him reflect a bit of Spencer Tracy's portrayal of J&H, but I think he's doing a fairly good job - for a soap.

Lydia, let me tell you something of my home town. Worcester is one of the biggest melting pots in the country. We have every ethnic community here. There are Swedes (me), Poles, Italians, Irish, Latinos, and on and on. You can find the best bagels, sour pickles, the best seafood, and any other food you can imagine. It's still full of old-time mom & pop stores - Table Talk Pies, oh, christ I could go on forever. John Karlen enjoyed Wocester when he breezed through during one of his many play performances.  On just about every block there is a pizza parlor. Some are owned by the Greek people and some are owned by the Italians. Speaking of which, we have our own Little Italy. And I....

Uh oh. Mysterious Benefactor is going top boot me out for this one...

...Worcester.

I'm from Worcester. Believe me. It's no place for a honeymoon.

Fill in the blank:

Bar Patron: Oh, my darling. Come with me and fly away. I’ll take you away from all of this. We’ll honeymoon in ________.
Buffy: Oh, Bar Patron, you send me.

I think Bruno was Cyrus's test subject as an amoral character.

So what'd he do, put an ad in the newspaper seeking a test subject? It seems like there's more to it than that. It seems to me that all of Angelique's pals knew each other, maybe passed each other outside her bedroom or something.

But Cyrus isn't trying to bring out man's best, is he? I thought he was trying to prove that there are two sides to a man - good and evil.

Anyway, Cyrus' potion reminds me of that Jello product that was 1/3 Jello. 1/3 foam, and 1/3 whipped topping substance. Or was it My-T-Fine?

So this potion not only grows a black mustache, it dyes your hair black as well. Only your hairdresser knows for sure, girls.

But Chris Pennock is great here. He really is.

Love the sticky note on the bottle of Karo syrup - Do Not Touch!

Inept bar fight alert!

Is it any wonder that the Black Pearl wants no notoriety where DS is concerned?

Maybe a bad acid trip? Looked like one anyway. Reminded me of those old films they used to show in school about the evil that drugs will do.

I'm sorry. I feel as though every once in a while I am at a loss as to what is going on. How are Bruno and Cyrus connected?

And, yes, it was grand seeing Jerry Lacy again. He does look mighty handsome. I agree. I like him as Tony Peterson, and like many others, wish that the relationship he had with Carolyn went so much further.

But... on to episode 996. Hope it has something more to comment on.

He played Garth Blackwood? Wow. Thanks for the info. I did not know that.

A month is seriously too long to wait to see Grayson Hall again. She is the empress of PT time.

This "real" writer will be happy to provide a complimentary clothespin for the nose of anyone who needs it. Just drop me a line.

Where? I will send you the story. Just tell me where you want it.

Kudos to Mr. Selby for carrying the show while his fellow actors were off shooting HODS. Kudos, I say. Can you imagine working every day, trying to remember script after script, line after line? You gotta give this guy credit. But then, who could expect less from Mr. Selby? He’s never been anything more than a consummate actor. And he’s a nice guy.

All right. Now for the wicked stuff. Gladstone. He looks more like an unpolished stone. I’m sorry. But this guy gives me the creeps. Nothing against the man playing the part, and maybe he is purposely coming across as a major slime ball, but he totally creeps me out. I picture this guy living with his elderly mother, sitting in a ratty old recliner with a bowl of Jello pudding in his lap – one of those ugly-ass Rubbermaid plastic bowls they made in the 70’s. He’s using a serving spoon instead of a dessert spoon and shoveling it in like he’s been in Ethiopia for four years. And is there really any sense in speaking about his spray-on hair? Gad, that man is a slug. Brrr! Gives me the willies, to quote my fave actor in another episode.

Um… I need a Hoffman fix….

I'm not coming up with much to say lately, sorry...

Get with it, Crucible.

I like the continuity between the pruning in Angelique's room a few days ago and today's pruning.

Have pruning shears, will travel. Perhaps that's why she keeps them in her bedroom.

So what is the problem with everybody's hair???

Is it possible that Stroka is skinnier than Twiggy? My God!

You know, Bruno plays Ode to Angelique so many times, he ought to be able to play it backward by now.

I think it would be neato to have an eccentric auntie like Hannah. I like her, even if she is wearing a Geisha wig.

One thing's for sure. They always seem to outfit Amy in really cute clothes that suit her.

I wonder what the recipe for "bone Dust" is?

That vest that Bruno is wearing looks like a Simplicity pattern. I mean right out of the package.

Boy, Quentin is one handsome devil. Zowie!

Isn't Quentin great with Amy?

Piano playing by itself... What do you think now, Quentin?

1227
Fill in the blank:

Sabrina: No, Alexis, this is NOT a wig! I take great pride in my hair. The way I give it height is to sprinkle _______ all over it and then I comb it and tease it until it’s way out here. Jerk!

1228
...just finished eating an ear of corn. The long way.

1229
Fill in blank:

Hannah: Unhand me, you slimey cur! I'm not one of your little trollops!
Quentin: But you'll enjoy ________ ever so much with me, my dear.

How close was Cyrus to Angelique?

I get the feeling that Ang was a slut, and I don't have nearly enough bobby pins for my hair.

Well, Quentin's pants tent quite often. Am I  the only one that notices this?

Daniel. Looks like Quentin didn't tell him about Alexis' arrival either.

Cyrus' hair looks like a volcano.

I love Chris Pennock's portrayal of the Jekyll/Hyde character.

Yipe! Who is the actor playing the brtender at the Blue Whal;=le?
