Hey,
Paul McCartney on a Saturday night in Toronto! I may have to do a little road trip for that one. Actually, I see quite a few road trips on that tour.
I went to a couple shows on his last two tours and have to say it was one of the most exciting things I've done. It's like seeing a piece of live history.

A friend of mine wanted me to check if anyone has been up to the church where Louis donated the Rookery? I thought there was some sort of memorial there but wasn't sure. He is going to be in the Long Island area for Memorial Day and thought it would be fitting to visit.
Has anyone been up there since Louis passed away?

I checked the site but as of yet you cannot register. I even tried calling the hotel but all I was told was the rooms were blocked. Usually the way my luck goes he will want to do the wedding the Saturday of the fest. It is either feast or famine.
A few months ago I had three different things to decide to do on one day. Either go see a band I used to follow that I have not seen in years, go to my office holiday party or go see Bruce Springsteen. The latter won out but my coworkers gave me a hard time about it.

I had an afternoon school job while Luke and Laura were in their prime. Once I had to go into work to clean/do paperwork while my boss was on vacation. I brought a little tv in with me to watch GH and out of the blue my boss walked in (lucky for me I had just turned it off ). He asked why I had a tv there and I said it was broke and I was going to stop after work to get it repaired. Whew, close call!
