More great pics VAM, was there enough cake to go around? Looks really nice in the photo. The decorator(s) outdid themselves.

The cake was pretty big. My piece was so large that I couldn't finish it ( many of my friends would find this hard to believe). I think the same people made the cake they had at the banquet. It was almost the same.

Glad to see y'all made it back safe and sound!  Can't wait to hear all the reports!  All about the celebs, Lyndhurst and whether or not Bob performed an encore medley of Partridge Tunes! [chrmy]

No, he didn't ( I think he was under the weather as were a few others) but I could see that gleem in his eye and knew he was just dying to do it!

It was great to see you Vam and so many others from the board. I had a great time and was happy the weather held out for Sunday ( a great sunny day at Lyndhurst).
It was great seeing Lara at a smaller gathering and although I had heard some things in the past that made me nervous asking her to sign a book, I found her to be warm, shy and gracious. I also think she had quite a good time dancing at the banquet ( as did our own Profstokes). Smiles were everywhere that night! Vam and I sat at the same dinner table with Diana Millay and that was fun and interesting. Marie and Terry were their usual charming selves and Roger Davis was Roger Davis :-) when he was there. The crowd was much smaller than before and the only problem with that was there was a lack of questions sometimes for the cast to answer but it gave everyone plenty of time small talk and catch up. I only wish there wasn't so much time before the next DS gathering in August!

I'll be there minus my festival sidekick Minja but I promised to have enough fun for both of us!

In the 1980's, I used to go to Palm Springs, CA a lot. One summer I was there every weekend, at the same hotel. My ex-husband I and had been going there for a while, and we knew all the people that stayed there often. It was always like one big party. One late evening, my ex and I were out in the pool, and at midnight, these 5 women that were there for the first time, and really drunk, all came outside in their nightgowns and jumped in the pool! It was hysterical!

Sounds like you guys had some good times out there in Palm Springs :-)

I remember when my sister and I were little, we would run outside with our nighties on after our bath and my mom would freak.
A few years back ( almost 20) my sister and I were in Detroit for a concert and we were staying at a really nice hotel. I had gone to bed and in the middle of the night my sister and friend wanted me to come down to the lobby to sit around with them. I went down in my pj's barefoot.

Hey MB or Midnite,
Do you have any chats scheduled soon. I was looking forward to the last one but had to sign off before it was up and working.

I've been testing it today also and it seems to be slow sometimes and others not. Checking mail is ok and appears not to be any different. I can say that posting responses has been very slow. Just typing this out right now took more time than ususal.

The logo does look kind of cool when it opens

I remember in 9th grade getting Charley for Christmas and thinking I was so cool wearing an adult scent to school. Prior to that it was Love's Baby Soft.
What about men's scents. What would Quentin wear?

I am the queen of new scents and am addicted to sephora.com. Right now I wear three scents. Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana, Amazing Grace by Philosophy and Vera Wang. Not all at the same time of course. :-)

That would be the Ed Lambese Halloweenathon. I have attended the past few years. The first year was fun but on the unorganized side. Last year was better, low key and I think due to 9/11, low attendance.
The area is gorgeous at that time of the year and right down the street is Lyndhurst and sleepy hollow. I believe quite a few people from this board go and it is nice to meet and catch up.

Yea, I did see that. She covered pretty good though. I mean, you got to figure it would be pretty dark up there anyway and there is so much junk and furniture to fall over. Good save.

Gosh, there are too many. Besides my loved ones ( including numerous pets) I guess I would like to speak to those who died under suspecious circumstances. Maybe Marilyn Monroe, Nicole Simpson,The Black Dahlia, Lizzie Borden's parents to name a few. Really, I am not a morbid person but I cannot stand those unsolved mysteries.
It would also be cool to talk to people from the Biblical days. Moses,Noah etc.
