I just watched the movie for the 3rd time. First time in the cinema and twice since I bought it last weekend and I just love this movie! Sure there are a few odd ball things I would change but in many ways Burton stuck to what was the core of DS. Barnabas was loyal to the Collins family name. I just overlook the goofy crap.

« on: November 29, 2012, 12:11:50 AM »For what it's worth several years ago I bought several autographed pictures of KLS from her website (my bedroom is decorated with autographed DS pictures and one large gorgeous B&W poster of KLS and Frid as Barnabas and Maggie in the Old House) and she sent me a bonus autographed picture and a very nice hand written letter. So I think of her as being a very nice, warm person who appreciates her fans.
I agree Quentincollins! I have several of KLS books bought both online and at fest and have always enjoyed reading them and don't mind the promotion at all. I have also found her to be a very warm person, patient and very friendly.

I'm sure it is awesome Gerard but the additional things ( dog plus airfare) I have to pay in order to go on a trip just add up too much. Right now spending close to $2000 is out of the question.
