Except for my last reply (Oct. 03), at the bottom of just this topic...there's a link and it says Knoll or something???? (and if you click it, it just opens to 404???

Anyway, while putting this message, I see below, insert quote...so I hope I won't get anyone mad if I play around ;D

Veddy interesting that this is back on top of Testing 1-2-3 Board

Veddy interesting indeed ;)

Patti
hello
I'll take a wild guess Patti.....it was never a post on one of the boards....it was "outside" the boards along with all the other Which Witch sWitch stuff.....and it was moved to the board so it would still be available to read once all the other "WWs" stuff vanished last night.

If I'm wrong, no doubt the mysterious one will correct my error, (and exact some terrible retribution while he's at it.... [a395]  ) [lghy]

Were "Indians" ever mentioned on DS...either during 1795 or 1600s?

Thanks,

Patti

PS...does anyone know which tribes hailed from Boston/Maine?

(I tried to find a similar topic - from me on this...couldn't find it.)

On Current Talk, there's a topic started by Devlin re: 1966. Earlier today, when I replied, I know his name was there on his post...now...it's gone ???

Patti ???

Oh, my gosh...I just saw THE most weird movie in my life.

"Mourning Becomes Electra". I'm sure alot of you have seen it/read the play.

My family was dysfunctional before there was such a term; but this family....oyevah & a hail Mary!!!!

It originally caught my eye because it was set in Boston circa 1865 and I was looking at the women's costumes.

but...it was R I V E T I N G!!!! Like a horrible multi-car wreck...I couldn't stop....

This family made 1795 or 1897 Collins' look like the Brady Bunch!

Thanks for letting say.....whoosh!!!!

Also:

I was perusing imdb and (not that it's on tv here) this movie:

"The Secret Behind the Door".
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0040766/

Has anyone ever seen it? It's great to see Joan on the title there!!

Patti

PS...wow!!! I never knew Chris Pennock appeared on an ep. of Cagney & Lacey....does anyone have any good screen grabs perhaps/perchance of J. Karlen w/C. Pennock?

While perusing tvguidedot com, I see tomorrow at 4:15pm on the MysteryEAST channel, there's, "Art of Darknesss: A Night Gallery Retrospective". It's a a 30 minute show.

The copy doesn't mention anyone from DS, but who knows and certainly Night Gallery is worth catching.

Have a good weekend,

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / OT>Video Question
« on: May 14, 2004, 03:12:55 PM »
First I was going to post this Wednesday, but more has come up.

The awful, awful, awful 'video on computer' of the American...(I'll say no more).....

Then, the next day, a lead in on my local news about some brawling at a High School, again on internet video.

Then, yesterday, my daughter gets a call; it's a friend telling her the new Evanescence (a rock group)'s video is out. She asks if she can go watch it, and I 'assume' MTV, but no, again, on 'puter. And not on MTV or Sony web sites (or whoever is the label for Evanescence).

Okay...so, the question is....how/where/how do these videos get uploaded/uplinked???

If I had a website, I realize (don't have a clue how) I could upload for viewing, but....these persons in Iraq, plus, the brawling teens, and the rock video.....

How are they uploaded? Where are they coming from?

Also, pretend at least one of them is I don't know, a Google site; doesn't Google have the right and/or obligation to say, "No, we're not showing teen brawling on our site"?

Yet alone the awful, awful above mention :'(

Thanks,

Patti

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / Mailbox Question
« on: April 29, 2004, 12:39:11 AM »
Okay, while on here, if I want to e-mail (what's the difference between IM & e-mail on here?...It doesn't INSTANTLY get delivered to you, like a pop-up.

Anyway, if I'm on here and I want to em/IM say Jennifer, or Birdie, I click on there name either on a post or on the cousins list, and it opens my DS mailbox, and voila.

But, if I do the same to only Midnite or MB, it opens Outlook Express (which I use for my e-mail).

Just now...I tried something new. Instead of clicking on Midnite's name, I typed dom and Midnite. I didn't get an error message...so, I hope she gets it. Did you Midnite?

And, why the differential between all cousins AND DOM(a mod) vs. Midnite/MB??

Thanks,

Patti
