I live within the Atlanta area.
This past Labor Day weekend, one of the many 'happenings' in Atlanta was 'Dragoncon'.
I had only ever heard of this....
Well, during the weekend, on the local PBS station, there was an hour-long show on Dragoncon.
I only caught the last half-hour of it; they were interviewing alot of different people; including a group from
PennyDreadful
Productions!!!!
What a hoot & 3/8ths!!!
As soon as it displayed this, I thought (quite loudly), "I know PennyDreadful"!!

I would so love it if there could be a side-by-side pic of the current Angelique next to the pic of Laura.
(IMHO, I believe there's a resemblance.)

There was an e-mail...so I pre-ordered Dark Shadows

I thought it had been mentioned on these boards that most of the 'principals' from our original series had a cameo(s) in the new pic.
I saw it last night, but I don't remember seeing anyone from original series....
Could someone help me clarify?

I actually went to the movies last night (only 3rd time in 5 years).
I asked the cashier if this theatre would be showing DS; she wasnt' sure.
Later, while en route to the bathroom, I saw life-sized boards of Angelique, I looked around, and there was Johnny Depp!! (Which I believe answered my earlier question!!)
Hooray!!
(But naturally, I took a pic w/my cell phone & JD's pic is my screen background!!)

On CE/A, DStoDA wrote that he went on to Fandango & ordered his tix (I noticed it because it said NEW JERSEY!!!).
Anywhoo....I've never pre-ordered a ticket to a movie; does anyone know if there's going to be a big demand and if I should pre-order? (For that matter, does one know how I could find out if my local movie theater will be showing the new DS?)

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / Actor's Names

Oh Dearest MB....on the 'sides' of any of the Boards (Main, testing, etc), there are pics of DS actors.
Some are from the 'original', some the '90 series, some (I imagine)  from the WB '04 and some from the not yet released J.D. movie.
Is there any way that you could put their names when you hold your mouse (or with tablets, etc) your finger on the pic, so it could display the actors name?
I know this sounds like A L O T of work...but, hey, you know, in your spare time  [easter_grin].
I'm going to hide now...

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / omg...FIRST...breathless

I just ordered my first entire TV series.
I ordered "Charmed"; I believe I mentioned I had cut back on our Dish satellite, (and on the low-end program, we didn't have Charmed, Angel, Buffy). Thankfully, though, almost 2 years ago, 'We-TV' started showing "Charmed" from 6pm through 8pm weekdays.
Unfortunately, last week, instead of 6pm-8pm they changed the air time to like 4pm-6pm (epic fail!).
So, boys and girls, I've ordered a COMPLETE TV series. (Disclaimer: I have TAPED the entire run of DS.)

I'm not sure how I'll watch; perhaps 1-1 1/2 shows per WEEKDAY....
