Anyone in the LA area who's interested in seeing Joanna Going on stage should check out the L.A. Theatre Works web site. She'll participate in performances of Caryl Churchill's Top Girls in January at the Skirball Cultural Center.

Selby did attend the premiere and there are photos online. Click here.

It probably has to do with the part of the country I'm from, but the cousin-fan connection has me thinking of some desperate hangers-on working at Graceland.  [santa_grin]

I see they made nine eposides. You realize that's enough to let the new SciFi Channel run this weekly for the next 3-4 years
Oh, your prophetic soul!  [santa_cheesy]

SCI-FI announced today that they've acquired the rights to rebroadcast all 10 episodes of the series, including 3 that didn't air on ABC. They say it will launch this summer. The press release is here.

I wonder if Selby attended the premiere here (and got his freebies  [santa_wink]).
Good question. I just look at the photos and wonder how I ever could've thought for a brief moment in the late 80s that Jack Scalia was hot.  [santa_huh]

There was supposed to be another element to that site update, but I forgot to add it until tonight. It's a link to an article about Unknown. Selby isn't mentioned, but it does give some interesting background on how the producers got the project off the ground.

The information about End Game in the Current and Recent Projects section of the News page has been updated. Information about the Los Angeles and world premieres has been added, along with a link to photos from the Los Angeles event. (David Selby does not appear in the photos.) A link to a review of the film from the Hollywood Reporter has also been added. It specifically refers to David's performance as Shakey.

In keeping with the spirit of the season, the home page image has also been updated.

Sometimes you'll see a pinky ring on Jonathan's left pinky.
I think that's his Yale signet ring.

And the really sad thing is that they think running Passions is a better fit for them than running DS again might be...
I'd guess the decision has far more to do with the fact that Passions is an NBC soap and SCI-FI is owned by NBC/Universal. That's why it's a good fit. The rest is just PR hype.

The archived radio show has been moved to a different page to make room for information about this weekend's program. You can now access the program featuring the David Selby interview here:

http://www.wvpubcast.org/radio/insideapp/112605.asp

The audio will probably be removed on Monday when they upload this weekend's program in its place, so get it while you still can.

David Selby was interviewed about his new book, A Better Place, on this weekend's episode of Inside Appalachia, a radio program produced by West Virginia Public Broadcasting. The show is now archived on the IA web site. The interview with Selby begins approximately 35 minutes into the program. This interview will be available online for about a week before it is removed.

As the bartender announces last call at The Blue Whale, Victoria, in typical dense fashion, tells Sam that she doesn't understand why he's crying.

Well, good news for you, Michael. Today, TVShowsOnDVD.com is reporting that the first season of WWW should hit stores in the spring. Unfortunately, Thayer David's episodes were in the 3rd and 4th seasons, so it will be a while before they get to them.

Still, there is Robert Conrad in tight pants. [crazy]

If you go to the main page of the site, you can see a photo of Angelique. What a looker!  ;D

Beginning in January, AOL customers will be able to access episodes of over 300 Warner Bros. television series online.
That was a poor choice of words. The new service will be on the AOL web site, but you do not have to be an AOL subscriber to access it.

As for DS connections, I neglected to mention that Scarecrow and Mrs. King with Kate Jackson will also be featured.

For Selby fans, one of the shows mentioned is Falcon Crest. For DS fans in general, I suppose this raises some interesting possibilities about new outlets for the series.
