Which one of you is going to provide the next sorrid detail to this story?
Me.  ;D They got back into the train car amidst a round of applause from the other passengers. After all, it's polite to applaud when you're witnessing good entertainment.  >:D

Next . . .

Boy, that was some story you all had in the train, yikes!!
Oh, we haven't even gotten to the good part yet. (I left the "Next . . ." off my last post. Oops.)

Both were so wasted that I'm not sure they could've found seats if they'd tried.
However, they were able to find every body part that should not be groped, massaged, or otherwise fondled in a public place. She was wearing an off the shoulder dress-top, or, at least, it was coming off her shoulders when we saw her.

It should also be pointed out that these two were by no means teenagers. He was 60ish. She was younger, but probably late 40s or early 50s.

When I asked the gentleman taking our tickets if there would be an extra charge for the show, I was assured that there would not be.  ;D

Meanwhile, there were two uniformed police officers in the train car, but they initially did nothing.

Knocked some of cynicism right out of me, in fact.
That is so disappointing to hear.  ;D

I'm looking forward to meeting you all and just for the record I'll be drunk off my ass. Hope I'm not alone
Just make sure that every breath you take is expelled in a statement about your love for Barnabas Collins, and you'll fit right in.  ;D

And I do wonder, when these groups of friends get together, do you catch up on spouses, kids, jobs, significant other, lives in general??  I would hope so, as that to me is a well rounded friendship, not getting together once a year and overpartying.
No, we all get drunk off our asses and talk about Barnabas 24-7.  ;D

Griffin did at least two interviews with David Selby in the 1980's when Falcon Crest was on the air. One of them is posted on YouTube. I have audio from both interviews on my David Selby site. (The video quality of my copies wasn't good enough to upload, and, at the time those clips were added to the site, I was also having to operate under bandwidth and file size restrictions.)

Thanks, everyone, for the birthday greetings.  :)

Here's an article that mentions Tell Me You Love Me and includes a publicity photo of David Selby with Jane Alexander:

Nice to see David Selby's butt receiving the press it deserves.  [bootyshake]  ;D

Does anyone know what the blank cards are for?
Probably to write the name of the person to whom you'd like the autograph personalized in order to speed up the process. (At book signings, it's usually done with a Post-it note.)

To JF and to me.  Where else? :o
None of it is going to the construction of a Frid-dome in his hometown?   ;D

Nathan: Just stick with me, Barnabas, and I'll turn you into a first-class rider!  I'll tell you a little secret: the real trick to horsemanship is practicing with a ride on my knee, so hop on!!!

i do have problems with Selby and Jane Alexander they don't go together
Interesting. This is the third time they've worked together.  ;) He's played Lovborg to her Hedda in Hedda Gabbler and Morris Townsend to her Catherine Sloper in The Heiress.

Saw James Storm earlier today in an advertisement on MSNBC for Countdown with Keith Olbermann. He plays a "wind up" news anchor who runs out of juice in the middle of a broadcast.

Happy birthday, MagnusTrask.  :)
