Apparently, there were preview performances on March 25 and 26 at the Merritt Bookstore in Millbrook. Hall was scheduled to give a talk and participate in a Q&A session following both performances.

Also, later in the series (after Mike and Gloria move into the old Jefferson house and Mike is now teaching in his college after graduation), there is an episode which features John Karlen as another college professor and one of Mike's friends.

I've got some screen grabs from that episode on my DS Alumni site.

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / Re: New Quoting Definitions/Style

I don't know about earlier versions, but the CSS definitely works in Firefox 1.0. In fact, the release candidate of Firefox 1.0.2 for Windows just came out on Thursday, and it supports even more CSS features. The official version is expected next week.  :)

My mistake. I needed to clear the cache to view your changes in Firefox. DUH!  ::)

Tune in next week when I discover the wonders of rebooting the machine.  :P

well, your browser is a piece of crap.  :(  And you should think seriously about changing to a better one.

Alrighty then, I'll switch back from Firefox to IE since it displays correctly in IE but not in Firefox.  >:D

The Pacific Northwest Inlander, whose circulation area includes Spokane, where David Selby has been filming scenes for the upcoming movie End Game, featured a cover story on the movie on March 10. It includes three paragraphs on Selby, including a brief quote from him on Shakey, the character he plays in the film. Click here to read it.

And don't miss the link to the photos from End Game.  Seriously, don't.  It's a new look for him, and I like it a lot.

I think it's time to break out this guy --> [62b2]

I dreamed I walked along the beach in my Maidenform bra.  ;D

Just a quick update. The Spokane signing was a rousing success. At least 65 people attended the event, the largest book signing ever for this particular Barnes and Noble Store I am told.

I've been given some photos to post, and I hope to have them up by tomorrow evening. (Selby with full beard in a black turtleneck.)

For those of you who were unable to attend this event, keep an eye out for additional book signing events in the near future.  ;)

I'm just shocked that there's a thread with this title and it isn't about Amanda Harris. [puke]

They are all different ones.  Perhaps it was one long big one that they broke up.  I'd have to play them all back to back and see if he is wearing the same thing in each one.  So far, no open shirts, drat!

The Selby interviews, thus far, are part of the same interview session. During that session, Selby filmed a television spot for In and Out of the Shadows that aired on SCI-FI in the fall of 1999. There's a screen grab and audio clip of it on my site. Click here.

That would mean that his interviews were done probably around the spring or summer of 1999. (During the early part of that year, he was sporting a mustache and appearing on stage in Connecticut, and he wouldn't have had the first clue about the length or price of the book since he had barely started it.)
