I think it might have been this one--the Archies singing "Jingle, Jangle." The Archies were interesting historically because lead singer Andy Kim (who of course wasn't credit at the time) was Korean-American. I think it was an early instance of an Asian-American singer on the charts (but not the first).

The song title "Jingle Jangle" makes me think of Josette's music box... that's my excuse for posting it here!

And now today Julia is telling Willie that Nathan's legs are gangrenous from blood loss.

I think there was some kind of communication failure between the artist and the writer, at this point. Wasn't this the final issue of this short-lived series?

I'm wondering just what it is about Nathan's legs that have Willie exclaiming "Oh God." Presumably, Nathan is turning to stone, but that's not visually evident, to me at least. Thus, it's hard to resist the thought that Willie may be a secret, hardcore foot fetishist.

For those who find the theme of this story intriguing, I strongly recommend the classic 1964 Hammer studios film, The Gorgon. It offers an interesting variation on the old legend.

Bobby Sherman had a few top 40 hits in the 1969-71 period. A friend loaned me a videotape of Bobby about 20 years ago appearing on Rosie O'Donnell's talk show in the late 1990s. She made a big deal out of how he had been her big crush as a tween. He seemed healthy and happy.

According to a popular internet search engine, among Bobby's other hits were "Little Woman," "Julie Do Ya Love Me," and "Cried Like a Baby."

Perhaps this has been posted here previously, but I do not recall it if so. This fan decided to write about each episode (with screen captures) on the 50th anniversary of its air date. So he started back in 2016. He and his friends are now in the final weeks of the 1897 storyline, and the latest episode from 10/21/1969 was posted just yesterday:

I played the trailer for this. It is not my idea of a good time, but it's heartwarming to see Catherine Disher getting regular work thanks to these. I loved her on Forever Knight. Nice to see her in a couple of these clips.
