Finally see Burke again, he's quite facinated with Ms. Winters.

The way Roger slithered off after finding out she was with Devlin, now I'm even more curious.

About what happened a decade ago.   [hall2_huh]

Whatever it was, seems to also involve Sam Evans, but Devlin does not have any contempt for him.

Ms. Hopewell confirmed Vicki's suspicions, Elizabeth is lying.

Poor Joe, Carolyn doesn't knows what she wants.

Case in point, going to see Devlin at the hotel.
Here comes TR0UBLE.      [hall2_sad]

I like Malloy, appears to be a  decnt man and  straight shooter.
My faint recollections of DS mostly involve Barnabas, so this is indeed new to me.

I am curious to learn what grudge Burke has against Roger and his family.

35
David looks like Billy Mummy, kept waiting for him to wish Victoria to the cornfield.

Sam Evans is a colorful character, want to see more of him.

Anyone else catch the goof with Vicki's suitcase

David rubbed off the Initials, but they magically reappear when he's packing her things.

So Matthew been  working at Collingwood for 18 yrs, after Elizabeth fired all the house staff.

And the husband left.

Interesting.....

Wonder what Joe wants to discuss with Carolyn and her mother?

The Pain/pleasure question sounded like Roger was trying to find out if Victoria was still  a virgin.

That's the impression I got.

And I agree about Carolyn being treated like a  child, but she is somewhat "child like" don't you think?

That's probably why Elizabeth wants to marry her off to a guy like Joe Haskell.

Who seems to be quite dependable, stable and would take care of her daughter.

Young David sure knows how to make a guest feel welcome, doesn't he?

Then again, a few folks in Collinsport seem to have that special gift.

Roger grilled poor Vicky like she stole the Lindberg baby.

Maggie called her a jerk.

Ah yes, great town to make friends.

I think the crying  Victoria  heard was Elizabeth.

Boom Mike ANYONE?

Well by all accounts, Devlin appears to be a bit of  a pompous jerk.

Judging by his rudeness towards e hotel clerk.

Who kinda hates the Collins family.

Carolyn is somewhat flighty and bored with her life and Joe Haskell.

Hungry for any type of excitement.

Collingsport and Collingswood appears to be harboring  some MAJOR secrets.

Victoria Winters, truly a babe in the woods.

I'm about to begin watching DS from the beginning, decided to post my thoughts about it in this old thread.

Hope that's okay, figured it's better than starting multiple threads about each episode.

Couldn't find any threads about the pilot, after repeated searches.

Really look forward to chatting with others here about the show.

That is a great deal, but I already have the indivdual slim dvd sets.

As I recall, it's nicely packaged as well.

40
Then we should soon get some casting announcements.

41
How awful.

R.I.P.

42
I believe Juliet Landau is in her mid/late 30's.

She reminds me of both Grayson Hall and Barbara Steele, can so picture her walking the halls of Collingwood.

Being Barnabas's confidante and doctor.

43
If I were casting it, I would try to find out what Alice Krige is up to these days for Elizabeth.

Alice Krige is a great choice  to play Elizabeth, Quinto would be good as Willie Loomis IMHO.

As for Julia, my pick is still Juliet Landau, think she would be perfect for the role.

Dark Shadows: The Beginning and  DVD Collection

The price has been cut to $19.49 per volume or dvd  box set.

That site changes prices on a whim, so who knows how long that will last.

Maybe it will be for the entire month, since Halloween is coming.

No Robert Foxworth?
