speaking of houses, you can visit the website for Lyndhurst, the mansion used in the movies, it's www.lyndhurst.org
It is so very beautiful.
Then there is the Lockwood-Matthews mansion used for House of Dark Shadows. you can find it at www.lockwoodmatthewsmansion.org

Check out the websites, you won't be disappointed. Lyndhurst is my favorite!!!

it's just so sad to me bacuse I know that there are wierdos out there but I never recall anything bad ever happening on Halloween, at least not around my town.

i just want to know, is it just me or does Hallween seem extremely different from when you were out trick or treating. I had 0 trick-or-treaters. My husband was so disappointed. I remember going all over town for Candy on Halloweeen, trick-or-treating for hours. watching scary movies on tv, going to haunted houses, dressing in costumes at school. there was nothing like that this year. Not even the big baptist church in the middle of town had their annual "Fall house of horrors" (I don't think they ever used the word Halloween) and since when is Halloween such a bad word anyway?
Halloween was always such a fun Holiday for me, just seems as if it's slowly losing it's magic over the years? anyone else agree? :-[

Thanks, yeah i did a google search to find an older pic of her. I loved her as Viki/Josette. I thought she was so lovley. I just finished watching the Revival Series again last night. I think that had the show been allowed to continue she could've had showcased more of her talent.

I see what you mean. I think it's that they both have a vampire in the full moon on both cases. :o

Simply saying DS is old and irrelevant wouldn't be as bad as what I think he's really trying to say. In its classic sense referring to something as moribund means it's in a dying state, at the point of death, or breathing its last. And I wouldn't say that DS is in anything resembling that condition.

I totally agree, I just recently started to watch it. (on DVD of course) ;D

I just watched the Revival series for the first time. I'm a huge fan of the original, so it was an experience for me. I had mixed feelings about Cross, but I did absolutely adore Joanna Going (lovely avatar you have!). :)
I know what you mean, The first time i watched I thought that Ben Cross's head was to big for his body [hall2_shocked] but I really got hooked on Joanna going and her portrayal of Victoria/Josette. But eventually he grew on me, and I think that he gets better as the show moves on.

Thank goodness i am not the only one who thought about poor Jean Simmons. I mean the woman made out with Brando for Crissakes! [hall2_kiss] the worst part for me was in the pilot episode when everytime someting terrible would happen she would either have to look bewildered or put her hand to her forhead like she just couldn't take it anymore.

But I do have to say that having to Revival series on DVD, digitally remastered really makes it look so much better and it was definatly worth the $34 I paid for it.
