Current Talk '03 II / Re:Setting up the "New" Vampire

Same sex neck biting seems a bit kinky to me too.  In an icky kind of way.  When Barn first bit Willie, it was on the arm.  That seemed more appropriate.
Roxanne's savage attack on Maggie seems more catty.  The equivalent of a jealous ex wanting to scratch the new girl's eyes out.

Don't you think Gerard looks alot like Lurch from the Addams Family?  I keep waiting for him to make Lurch's exasperated groan noise.
Hhhhhrrrrrrrhhhh !

Perhaps Angelique doesn't really have such good control of her powers.  She bumbles 'cause she doesn't know what she's doing.
IMO, I think she was surprised to find that in a fit of anger she could turd Barn into a vampire, and even more surprised to find that she couldn't turn him back to human.  I really think she would have turned him back, way back when, if she could.

Vampire Barnabas is more interesting for sure.  So full of lust and guilt.  Absolutely more interesting, more complex, and just plain hot.
Human Barnabas ?  Well, just plain.

Has anyone noticed the odd strand on the head of Chris Jennings?  He always has this odd piece of hair that looks like it should go up or down but does niether.  It's just out of place ready to poke him in the eye or something.
Personally, I find his hair the most annoying.

It really bugs me how the credits are all mashed to one side at the end of the show.  The other day they didn't even wait for the show to be over before the squishing began.  There was Paul Stoddard, all squished, with a terrified look on his face.
I wanted to know if the guy from the antique shop was the same guy who played on Guiding Light.  It took about a week of watching for me to catch his name.  It was always too squished to read.  Grrrrr!
Re:Shannen Dougherty... she sounds scary enough to have her own show.

The E! thing was about Peter Duel like Bette said.

Missed Roger Davis as surfer dude - bummer
But there he was this AM on Mysteries and Scandals on E!.  (He wasn't mysteroius or scandalous-didn't even touch his hair)  A few weeks ago I saw him on a rerun of Matlock.  He got killed off in the first 15 minutes.

Most loyal dedicated and unselfish?

Ben Stokes without a doubt.

Willie is afraid of Barn and kind of unstable mentally.  Julia has that "love is blind" thing in her favor but her conscience still gets to her.  Barn was kind to Ben when Ben was a poor enslaved servent to Joshua.
Ben would run into a burning building for Barnabas.

Ok...who IS this guy?  I have to agree that he is easy on the eyes, but I honestly don't remember a thing about him.  (Sorry)  I haven't seen the show since the 70's when I was a kiddo.  All I remember is Barn and Collinwood, so I'm eagerly awaiting this storyline.   ;)

I have to agree with Scout75.  I can see Nicky B. with a closet of matching duds.  He found something that works for him and is sticking with it.

What about Adam ripening day after day in that icky green sweater?  I know he has jammies, but what ever happened to his gray shirt and black blazer?

Have you ever been on a cruise?  You can pick out the Europeans by their scent.  (and Speedo's).  Yikes !

I had one of those quilted skirts in the early 70's.
(and lived to tell)

We all got to see what Julia carries in her doctor bag a few weeks ago when she was at Nicky's place.  I loved it when she whipped out that wooden stake.

Oh well.  I guess embalming wasn't a common practice in Collonsport.  Perhaps since they didn't make any money that way,  the funeral home people could have had a side business re upholstering caskets.  "Would that be the velvet Mr Collins?  Or did you decide on the Flexsteel?"
Btw, if people had been embalmed they couldn't have been dug up and used for parts.

Current Talk '02 II / "Human" Barnabas

Do you think Barn is missing some of the vampire perks now that he is human?

Like turning into a bat?
Being able to fly?
Being able to stay awake all night?
Those cool fangs?

What do you think?
