Call the hotel and ask to speak to the Hotel Manager, Nicely explain your situation and ask them to correct the reservation if you made it or to make one for Friday check out on Monday, that is what I did. DO NOT select the reservation number because they are idiots.

Current Talk '11 II / Re: Depp/Burton DARK SHADOWS Spoilers
« on: December 29, 2011, 04:26:29 AM »
I've had similar thoughts about what Helena said.
If Bella plays Josette in an extended flashback sequence in the 18th century, Helena may play Countess du Pres.  And the scene to which Helena alluded may have had to do with the fate of the Countess, rather than Julia.
It will be interesting to see how it all plays out once the movie is actually released!

I agree this is a wait and see because things can change in the cutting room and if actors play more than one characters

I am for one very excited at the look and feel of this. I can deal with the story changes and IMHO did not want to see a rehash of the same old plot lines.

The past recent Fests that Frid has attened the pictures are pre signed and in your registration packet
there is no way he can sign and personaliz 800+ photos during dinner he is in his mid 80s.

Perhaps a third book was mentioned and then she name dropped the second book.  Who knows?  The author obviously mixed up some of her notes when writing the piece.
Lara has been working on the third book for at least 2 fests.

13
another thing about the article "Parker has her third "Angelique" book coming out, and it's based on both original and new characters. It's called The Salem Branch and is about Angelique's first incarnation as a witch in Salem, Massachusetts."  wasn't that the title and plot of her 2nd book?

14
My 2 cents.... I live a normal life work for a private college in a professional capacity; have an advanced degree a family and friends. In fact most of my closest friends are those I met through DS Fandom. Are there some strange nuts at the fests, yes but for the most part there are a lot of folks just like me, normal folks who have been touched by something by this TV show.

15
The whole notion of boycotting an unseen (and unfinished) movie is pretty silly.  You have to wonder if someone is that close-minded over a movie (which in the scheme of things is unimportant) how are they about the really crucial day to day life issues?  That's scarier than any vampire movie!
Oh Nancy you put into words what I have been feeling. To Quote Wm Shatner "Get a Life" folks
