Current Talk '06 I / Dark Shadows Movies on DVD

Hello everyone:

Read online about a possible DS Movie release to DVD by Warner Bros.  This was via Home Theatre Forum, which hosts upcoming forums on DVD releases by the studios.  I gathered by the information given, that Warners is the only studio that participates there.

To make things short, a double feature DVD would be in the works for the Dark Shadows movies in the next year.  This would make it sound like  restorations of the movies, or other extras, might not make it in the final DVD release.  Any updated word on this development?

Seems odd that AMC had a promo for "Frankenstein" starring Robert Foxworth, right before "Frankenstein: The True Story" was broadcast.  Obviously,  someone at the network got their wires crossed!  

In thinking about this, did both movies come out at about the same time?  I remember "The True Story" broadcast on NBC as a 2 part special.  Was the DC version part of an ABC Late Night special?  Somehow, I recall that it aired in the middle of the night.

Hi all:

I just hope this movie happens!  With or without Johnny Depp.  

I just remember as a kid going to HoDS with my friends, at the local movie house, and being blown away by that feature film.  It still holds up well... to this day.

My only thoughts are: What story lines are Steven de Souza and Dan Curtis considering?  Is Bob Cobert going to do the music compositions?  What locations(New England?)are they going to use?

Any thoughts... ideas???  Keep your fingers crossed... Brad
