Guess we'll stick with living in Vegas someday.

Great choice, I love living in Vegas! They are always building really nice homes here. Whenever we see new models nearby, we go in and take a look. Saw some fabulous homes last weekend. The only problem is there are too many to choose from! My home is only 6 years old, but when I see the new ones, I want one of those. I should quit looking.

The math paper has the answers to the problems, corresponding to numerals with color codes, (11-black, 12-orange), to make a picture of a black bat on orange background. The riddle is at the top of the page, and the answer is at the bottom. Slightly different! We never had fun things like that when I was in school. Math was just math and very boring, until my sophomore year when I had a crush on my math teacher, and used to sit with him at his desk everyday. I'm not kidding!

I thought it was cute, the riddle came from one of my daughter's math papers from school. I know that seems weird!

I am from the dark ages I still wear hard contact lens.

When I first started wearing contact lenses 7 years ago, I wore the hard ones. They bothered my eyes so much. I also remember the lenses being very small. Every time I lost one of them it cost $100 to replace it. I think I lost about 5 of them. I switched to soft lenses, and they kept tearing, had to keep replacing those too. When I wore disposable lenses, I didn't remove them at night. My eyes got infected. Unless one is diligent with the daily routine of cleaning, putting in and taking out contacts, they are not a good idea.

My daughter likes the Spider Man costume. I just ordered her the Director's Selection, Spider Man, from Columbia House Video.

More great pics VAM, was there enough cake to go around? Looks really nice in the photo. The decorator(s) outdid themselves.

I was near sighted, needed glasses to see distance. No, I don't need glasses for reading. LASIK does not treat "presbyopia" which occurs to most people above the age of 40 and requires them to wear reading glasses. Insurance does not cover LASIK, and you have to pay up front. Mine was quite expensive. I got the best doctor in the area. He came highly recommended, and has been featured on the local news a few times. He will not perform the surgery if there is even the slightest thing wrong. My eyes were checked by him a number of times, and everybody on the team, before I qualified. I went through a lot before I became a candidate. It took nine months.

My LASIK surgery on Thursday, was a success. I went to the doctor this morning for a follow up, he said I have 20/20 vision. I am so happy, nice to get rid of my glasses after 21 years! A couple of things during the procedure were painful, but it didn't last long. They gave me a brochure that offers a "Buy One Pair, Get A Second Pair FREE!" for some cool Tortoise Frame sunglasses. Craig Slocum wore Tortoise Frame sunglasses, so I've just got to have some! I ordered mine with Rose lens, the second pair with Gray lens. They have advanced UV Protection, Polarized lenses, and attractive styling. I'm feeling great, haven't even needed my pain medication. I was given a video of the whole procedure.
