It was the best of times for me seeing Craig Slocum again as Harry Johnson! That was a great birthday present for me too. He looked so nice all dressed up in a suit. He really made my day. I find him fascinating and incredibly sexy!

I enjoy the Adam storyline the most for obvious reasons, my fave Craig Slocum is in there! I like the scenes with Harry, Mrs. Johnson, Carolyn, Adam, and Nicholas. He did some great scenes with them.

I will just put on the MPI tape. My Mom is going to be here and she wants to watch Dark Shadows too. The seventh of May is my birthday, I'm sure that's when Craig Slocum comes on as Harry Johnson. What a trip! I will be looking forward to that.

Happy Sweet 16 Birthday Daphne! I hope it's a fun time for you. I turned 16 in 1980, and I met my first boyfriend a month later. We were together for 3 years. A happening time indeed! You'll remember these years always.

Noah Gifford, disguised as the Collinsport Strangler, attacks Millicent Collins in the gazebo.

After being questioned by Dr. Lang about the puncture wounds on her neck, Victoria Winters tells him she probably scratched herself. Did she really expect him to believe that?

After purchasing Collinwood, I would put a spa in the gazebo area. I have a spa and gazebo, so every time I see that gazebo, I think there should be a spa with it! Since the weather is stormy most of the time, I think I would put in a indoor pool and spa also. If the water at Collinwood is like the water here in Las Vegas, I would install a water purifier to get rid of the calcium build up. Must have central air and heating. I'll keep Mrs. Johnson, and Harry around. They're all the help I need.

I already bought my plane tickets. I think you should do it now. When I called the airlines, the preferred time slots I wanted were all taken. I had to get later flights than I would have liked. The plus is I will be going to John Wayne/Orange County instead of LAX. I only have to arrive there one hour early on the way home. I don't know about the prices changing between now and then. I don't see why they would.

It's fun being a Mother, greatest thing that ever happened to me! I vote for Sarah Johnson. She deserves that special honor because she's sweetie Harry's Mom. She made a cute one!

The spirit contact is Noah Gifford. In 1795, he tried to murder Daniel Collins. The seance is being held at the cemetery where Noah died on top of Jeremiah Collins grave. It is a very stormy night. Present are:

Harry Johnson - Mistaken for and believed to be the reincarnation of the contact.

Victoria Winters - Killed the contact in 1795 after arriving in that time period during the last seance. Is sure he is haunting her.

Mrs. Johnson - Just wants to know what Harry is up to tonight and why Victoria is so afraid of him.

Nicholas Blair - Warlock and eager participant in all things dealing with the occult.

Adam - A created Monster Man, wants to learn more than reading and writing poetry.

Carolyn Stoddard - Missed her date with Tony Peterson, decided to hang around Adam for the evening.

At the last couple of Dark Shadows Festivals, I noticed there are a growing number of teenage fans. That's too bad Carol that your daughters don't enjoy Dark Shadows like you do. My daughter is going on 6 years old and she has been watching Dark Shadows since she was 2. Just today she said to me, "Mommy I want to watch Dark Shadows!" We put on the MPI tape, continuing where the Sci Fi Channel left off on Friday. I watched Dark Shadows with my Mom when I was her age and younger. It is neat having 3 generations of fans in the family. My Mom is coming next weekend for a visit, to be here for my birthday, and Mother's Day. During her visits, it's always fun when we watch Dark Shadows together. My daughter is right there with us watching just as I did at her age. My Mom has always been a Barnabas Collins fan. You all know who I love. My daughter likes the werewolf, lol!, also the child actors. She has her own little Dark Shadows collection of pictures from the show, and the Barnabas Collins board game from 1969. She makes grandma play it with her when she comes over. They put the skeletons together and take them in her closet and watch them glow in the dark. I'm lucky to have a Dark Shadows enthusiast like I was. She hopes to attend a Dark Shadows Festival someday. She's still a little too young. I stay in a chair in the Main Room for 5 hours at a time. If you leave your seat, forget it it's gone! Most of the time, the room is full, people are sittting on the floor in the front,  the walls are all lined with people, and there's a line of people at the microphone.  Daphne, having grown up with Dark Shadows, I can't imagine what it's like just getting into it now all these years later. My heart throb Craig Slocum died when I was 14 years old. At least I was on the earth while he was alive. The thought of not even being born, now that's scary, lol! I wonder who my daughter will fall for. You just might see her around someday, the up and coming!

I was only 4 years old in the spring of 1968, so I remember only bits and pieces of that time period, Dark Shadows being one of them. My dad was in the Vietnam War before that, he was in the first part of it. Welcome MM! Glad you came out of the lurk mode and decided to join in. I hope others will do the same. I'm not a big fan of his but I do like Willie Loomis. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of Harry Johnson at Collinwood. I like Willie Loomis the best of John Karlen's Dark Shadows roles, next would be Desmond Collins. I enjoy seeing John Karlen at the Dark Shadows Festival. He always has good things to say and he is funny! At a banquet, he was sitting right behind me at the other table, and his table was really going. They were the life of the party! Finally I leaned back and said to him, "You're having way too much fun!" He said to me, "Honey, that's just what I'm here for!" You gotta meet him in person.
