« on: May 14, 2002, 12:41:27 AM »I had a blast from my past while my Mom was here visiting last week. My dad put all of his reels of home movies from the 1960's on video finally. My Mom brought them with her, and I duplicated them. It was great seeing me with my brothers, parents, friends, my old neighborhoods, all the old cars, etc. My daughter got to see what I looked like when I was her age and younger, riding my bike, and playing, also what I looked like when Dark Shadows was on for the first time back then. I was such a little kid! I don't remember that much from the 60's, so it was great seeing those films!

« on: May 13, 2002, 07:52:02 AM »Happy Mother's Day! Mine was, and I hope all the other Mom's here was too. I spent the day with my Mom, who has been here all week and is leaving tomorrow, my daughter Stephanie, and her father. Stephanie gave me candles. I burn a candle at night for Craig Slocum. Stephanie gave her grandma a cute little plant with flowers on it. We went out to dinner. The place we went to had a Mother's Day Special. Tomorrow we are going out to breakfast, take my daughter to school, then my Mom has to leave. My dad misses her!

Welcome! I watched Dark Shadows with my Mom in the 60's. My daughter watches it too, and she wears Dark Shadows t-shirts and jewelry. She also likes to play the Dark Shadows board games with Mommy and grandma. There were 2 games that came out in 1968 and 1969 that I have. I have a huge collection of Dark Shadows memorabilia. I attend the Dark Shadows Festivals. I have a couple of websites, Cheryl's Dark Shadows Website, and Cheryl's Craig Slocum Website. He is my favorite actor on the show. I hope you find this to be a fun message board. Interesting to hear a new generation's point of view.

It was a special day for me with a great Dark Shadows present, Craig Slocum making his first appearance as Harry Johnson, and all dressed up in a suit too for my birthday. Whoever planned that, I surely appreciate it! I spent the day with my daughter and my Mom. She is here visiting for the week. She has been watching Dark Shadows too. The weather is really nice here in Las Vegas, NV. For the last couple of days, we spent most of the day out at my pool and spa, and soaking up the local color, working on our sun tans. I also got some exercise diving in the pool. My little girl makes me jump in with her too. It's hard to get her out of the pool. It was a fun birthday, now I am looking forward to Mother's Day!

For me, it's absolutely Craig Slocum. He really made a big impression on me as Noah Gifford in the 1795 Flashback, then later as Harry Johnson in the Adam storyline. That's when I really noticed him. I like everything about Craig Slocum. He fascinates me so much. I could watch and listen to him all day. I love his handsome good looks, red hair, brown eyes, cute boyish face, soft sweet voice, and his luscious 5'11", 150 pound body. I think he did a great job in his small roles on Dark Shadows! I keep him alive in memory.

How nice Bob! Looks like you had a fun DS Reunion. After not seeing each other for that many years, I bet there was a lot to catch up on. Thanks for sharing the photos, always nice to see what people look like, so if I see them at the Dark Shadows Festival, I will know who they are. The little girl Olivia looks so cute. I adore my little girl Stephanie, who will be 6 in August. If you read this Linda, I hope you have a Happy Mother's Day!
