My daughter watches Dark Shadows with me when I put on a tape, she's at school when it comes on Sci Fi. My Mom always watches it when she comes over. My brother that I used to watch it with when we were kids is supposed to visit me sometime before too long hopefully, I know he will watch it too. I need to ask my oldest brother if he ever watched it, I don't remember.  :)

If there's a couple of game pieces left, me and JamesLady will play. Is there room for us Bob?

Since Harry was the chauffeur, he would need some supplies for the limo, drinks and munchies, and some safety measures for a hot date.  ;)

It's on here in Las Vegas, NV at 10 a.m. I have Cox Digital Cable. I would miss it if it was on earlier, busy getting ready to take my daughter to school.

I thought Joe and Maggie did well with that scene inspite of her earring falling off. I have even had pierced earrings fall off, or the backings, that's why I prefer French wires.

I thought that was cruel. Mrs. Johnson didn't deserve that. She didn't even know what was happening to her. I also stick up for her because she's Harry's Mom.  ;D

I'm trying not to laugh as I read some of this stuff, my daughter is asleep in the other room. I think the first Willie Loomis was a nerd. His pants were too short. When I was a kid, we used to call those high waters. Jennifer, I love nerdy Harry! He always dressed in nice clothes. :)

And I fondly remember your vacation in March, ProfStokes. It was good seeing you again and meeting your family!  :)

When Dark Shadows ended in 1971, I was only in the second grade. All I remember is my Mom, brother, and I were very disappointed that the show went off the air. I don't think we ever expected to see it again. I remember seeing some of the black and white eps in 1977. VCR's had just come out around then, but we didn't have one. Having all of the MPI videos now makes up for it. Daphne, I like Match Game too. I used to watch it in 1974 when I was 10. I was pretty good at guessing the answers too!  ;)

I don't remember ever playing Clue, but I would definitely play the Dark Shadows version. Great idea Bob!  :)

The last time it aired on Sci Fi, I missed the whole extent of what went on with that tape, but on one of the eps of Craig  that I watch, that tape has ended up in the drawing room at Collinwood.

Current Talk '02 I / Re: DS and CATS
« on: May 27, 2002, 08:06:56 AM »

I only had one cat in my life, back in the mid 70's. My Mom gave me a tiny kitten, it was orange and white, a pretty cat. We had a dog too, they became good friends. At night, the cat would cuddle up against the dog and sleep. That was cute. The poor cat only lived 4 years though, we found it dead in our neighbors' yard. We never knew what happened to it. I still have pictures of the cat from when it was a kitten and when it was grown.

SPOILER

I would say the scene that you mentioned Lindsey, with Gerard's pirate zombies. I remember that and haven't seen it since it first aired, but I was 6 years old at the time and it was pretty scary! I remember they go into Collinwood too and destroy the place. Julia also stands out in my mind for some reason. Was she right in the middle of it?
