No, Jennifer!  And I love Dexter!  (Didi rules!)  And my other favorite, along with the Powerpuff Girls, is Courage the Cowardly Dog.  And I can't see any of them anymore since moving here!  And now I'm losing Dark Shadows!  I think it's time to just end it all.

It is a terrible story, as you say, but so well-constructed and fascinating ...  And who says you have to like the characters?     Anyone expecting a sentimental romance is in for a shock!

Ralph Fiennes brought out Heathcliff's sadism the best of any of the Heathcliffs in the screen versions I've seen.  There is something intriguing about HER too -- difficult to capture, though Fiennes definitely got the intensity.

but i do admit i watch the Timothy Dalton version with the sound down
Aston Kutcher is a little boy toy compared to Dalton

I just have to say that I thing the cape Julia gets to wear in this time period is just beautiful.  In fact I think this is the nicest piece of the wardrobe she ever got to wear on the show.

 it is better than therapy Birdie as my soon to be teenaged daughter
