Argh. Yeah, he has an awesome site devoted to Dark Shadows. He still posts here. :) Can't totally remember his board name.

But, yeah, that's exactly what I meant by the merging of names. :) It's a relatively new thing. ~DJ

MA= Maggie. WI= Willie. MAWI. Other fandoms like the Buffyverse and I think even soap operas have people who enjoy watching certain couples together. Because of this, some of these fans (called "shippers") merge the names of the couple they like the most. It's nutty but I think it's cute. And it's a lot easier to type. lol. ~DJ

Aww.. That's so bitter-sweet. It makes me feel like crying knowing he's no longer with us. I really enjoyed watching him on DS. Happy Birthday, Don Briscoe, where ever you are. :)  ~DJ

1969 Ezra Braithwaite and Bathia Mapes - You know you wanna see those two make out... NOT!   :P
Ah, go on, gimme a cure.  I deserve it for evoking that visual image.  Bet Mrs. Johnson and Bob Rooney doesn't seem so bad now, eh Maybellique?

Ugh! Don't MAKE me break out the splices of Jeff as a woman! I swear I'll do it! I'll do it... and you'll never have a pleasant dream again!  >:D >:D >:D >:D ~DJ

This also works "[ quote ]then paste the line you want to quote here[ / quote ]"   without the spaces. the word author isn't actually necessary in the script from what I've learned... ~DJ

Oh, God. Willie in cowboy attire complete with tight pants and cowboy hat? I'm gonna have GOOD DREAMS TONIGHT!! lol.

So, this wouldn't only be time travel but it'd take them across the country? Were there any Collinses in Cali? ~DJ

Maggie seemed very opposed to a relationship with Willie. It was almost as if she thought she was better than him. I can't see her giving in to him. She'd maybe give it a whirl, but I don't see them in a long-term relationship. I do love the hell out of the idea of MAWI, though. ;) They'd have been cute together. ~DJ

Milestone?  I see it as a descent into his own personal ring of Dante's Hell.

Not me. Think of the alternative. What could he have done without this hard, cold lesson Barnabas served him? I think he would have continued drifting, gambling, thieving and eventually been put in jail for life to rot in there or worse. Definitely a milestone for him. ~DJ

Recently, I fulfilled my English Proficiency Requirement test at my university. It was a huge milestone for me, since things in my life have been bad as of late. Can anyone think of any milestones that DS had?

Congrats! And any time you need a friend or just need to vent something, you can always come here and we'll be here for you. :) Most of us in the DS community are very loving and very caring, so you'll definitely have a shoulder to cry on if you need one.

DS milestones... Definitely Willie's changing point from thug to acquiescence. ~DJ

I'd have to say that I never liked Jeff and Vicki together. It may have just been the way he tried to kiss her. He could have done a good job playing Hannibal. LOL Seriously though, sometimes it looked as if he was trying to eat her face. XD

No, kidding. Ian, where did you get that graphic you have in your siggy? Is that FF8? Gorgeous! Did you make that? ~DJ

What can I say, I was a Quentin and Beth shipper.

So am I. My hubby's in love with the idea of Quentin and Daphne, though.

I only saw one scene with Joe/Carolyn together. It was one in which they were sitting on the couch at Collinwood chatting. They just seemed really good together. Oh, I can't wait till they release all those eps on DVD! ~DJ

Quentin and Amanda? Without spoiling anything, can someone tell me when this took place?

I don't think Joe and Maggie were a bad enough couple to be considered "worst", they just bored me.

BB, have you ever seen Carolyn and Joe together? I thought they had real chemistry. When I saw those two together in one of my mom's older tapes, I couldn't believe the writers decided to part them. It was like they weren't even acting! It's too bad they didn't last... hell, they could have been another great obsession of mine. Then again, they still can be. ;) Anyone against the idea of Carolyn/Joe? For it? What do you think.. ~DJ
