Was this the first time on DS that we actually get to see a real burial taking place? (well almost) In yesterday's epidode I was suprised to see those four zombies lifting up Quentin's coffin and lowering it into the ground to bury him!!  And they even used the lowering rope!!!   This was first believable burial scene I think I've ever seen on DS.

Usually it's just one poor soul who somehow manages to carry a coffin to the middle of the woods at night and does all the lowering and burying by themselves!!

Cassandra

LOL!  I noticed that too Cassandra.    It did actually look like a normal funeral service for once.  Now all you needed was the Minister and you'd be all set!!

ROTFLMAO  Well said MB ;D While on the subject of televison and devils, it's been a while since this photo of MsCriseyde has seen the light of day. :)
This would also make for an interesting avatar

???Willie ???
Strangly enough, I think that Nathan Forbes would've been a good match for her. He's a gorgeous looking man and she's certainly beautiful and their temperments are quite similar.  >:D

I can't imagine these together because Lt.Forbes was too much a flirt and womanizer to be loyal to just one woman.  And Angelique is definetely a "one man woman"   she would never put up with that stuff!

I agree Cassandra, but then nothing Jeb does suprises me anymore!  I think he just tries to scare people and the scarier, the better.  You're right, he could have just used Bruno or Sky, since they're suppose to be his "faithfull" followers,  or better yet,  he could have just turned into that monster thing and scared everyone off!!

Alot of the things they've done during this storyline make no sense to me anyway.   Was it really necessary to raise up the Sherriff??  What did he use him for?  To keep watch over Maggie, which Im sure anyone could have done, even David & Amy!!!

I liked that scene too Josette.  It was cute how Quentin (the great-grandfather) told Chris to "go home and get cleaned up"  as if he was really talking like an authority figure to him, which I guess in a way he was.

You know what I really can't understand is why as a werewolf Chris seems wounded and ready to collapse when someone shoots him, but when he changes back to Chris he's okay and the wounds are gone?  You would think he would still be wounded when he changes back.

For instance when Carl Collins was killed it seemed as if the family just wanted to get the whole funeral thing over with.  I mean this was their brother for goodness sakes!    I think the only one who really took his death seriously and mourned him was Charity/Pansy Faye.   I realize they didn't have the time to dwell on things but it would have been nice to at least hear a mention of the deceased with a fond memory every now and then.

Cassandra

I hated that too Cassandra!  Felt bad for poor Carl and how everyone just shrugged off his death as "just another day" in Collinwood.  I would have liked to have seen him and Charity get together after she became possessed by Pansy Faye!  I think the two of them would be good together.

Sabrina wasn't crazy she just had a nervous breakdown after seeing something her mind couldn't cope with at the time. :o

jennifer

And this is similar to what happened to Jenny.
IIRC, she wasn't crazy to begin with, she only went mad after learning that her husband, Quentin, ran off with another woman.
On a good day, Professor Stokes without all the smarts. On a bad day, Count Petofi without all the hair.

Well, as was pointed out, Crazy Jenny was supposed to be crazy so the hair fit the character and was appropriate.

True, but so was Sabrina......

Current Talk '03 I / Re:Is Sabrina Stuart for real???
« on: May 31, 2003, 11:00:58 PM »
I don't see why they used the wig. Lisa Richards' natural hair isn't bad at all. And she refers to herself as looking the way she did originally, but didn't she have longer, MUCH better hair in a flashback from when Sabrina and her brother Ned (ick) first came to town?

Yes, VWR,  Sabrina did have much longer and nicer hair in the flashback scene.  So I dont know why they chose to have her sporting a wig?  Maybe they thought that this would make her appear older or perhaps more sophiticated looking,  although I thought she looked much better with the long hair myself.
