That's my favorite outfit of Maggie's, looks great on her! There's an excellent photo of her wearing it, in the Dark Shadows Almanac 30th Anniversary Tribute, Photo Gallery I. It's my fave photo of her and Joe. The colors are pretty, I like his tie too!  :)

The film was shown in its entirety at last year's Dark Shadows Festival, in remembrance of Louis Edmonds. I had never seen it before. It was good, but for me, one of those films I will see 1 time and probably not again. Yes, it was similar to Dark Shadows,  it reminded me of one his roles.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing the graduation experience with us Midnite, it's great that you got to be there. ProfStokes, I printed out your speech posted in another group, and put it with the Commencement announcement. I will save it always. Good luck in your spooky pursuits!  :)

I read your beautiful graduation speech, Amanda. Very good! I wonder if anyone figured out that you're a Dark Shadows fan. I know what you mean about that cap not staying in place, I had a similar problem when I got married 18 years ago (long divorced now), I wore a hat and it wouldn't stay in place. If you ever get married, wear a veil, so you don't go through it again!  ;)

Congratulations! I too wish I could have been there to see you graduate Amanda, thanks for the lovely invitation.  I look forward to seeing you real soon at the Fest. I wish you the best of luck as you move forward into the future to fulfill your goals and dreams.

Sorry to have to say this, but I know people that won't come near the DS boards because of things like this. There are scenes of Harry Johnson breaking and entering at Collinwood, and the Old House, as you will see. Yes, Luciaphil's comment did bother me. I certainly can't say I like it. I believe in being polite and courteous. Even if I didn't like someone, and I knew there is someone here who adores the person and has great enthusiasm for them, I would not say such a thing. Nobody wants to read trash about their favorite character/actor. There are opinions and there is also courtesy. I draw the line between the two. My enthusiasm, love, etc. for Noah Gifford/Harry Johnson (Craig Slocum) will never be dampered by anyone. That isn't what I meant  when I said, "Your bad comments about my favorite character and my enthusiasm don't go together". It was a polite way of saying to Luciaphil, I don't think friendship is in our realm here under these circumstances. This is all I have to say on this. I come here for fun not nonsense.

I won't waste my time trying to refresh your memory, Luciaphil. You'll see it when it comes on. Your bad comments about my favorite character and my enthusiasm for him don't go together.

One of Angelique's flaws came out today when she appeared in the Evans cottage, trying to make Victoria have the dream curse. She got caught red handed by Maggie, of course she just disappeared. She is too hasty in her vengeance against Barnabas.

If Noserferatu is the film where the vampire has creepy looking fingers, pointy ears, and comes out of the basement ,then yes Carol, that's the one. I don't think any other vampire films were made in 1915, were they?  ?!?

The Old House was the place where people just barged or broke in the most. I don't blame Jeff/Peter for going to Collinwood at 2 a.m., I would be anxious too after having a dream like that. He admitted to Victoria that he was Peter Bradford, but in a later episode, when Eve/Danielle Roget' calls him Peter Bradford, he denies it. I agree with Raineypark that Collinsport, Maine is about as lawless a place as you're likely to find, lots of ex cons there too. Harry Johnson was the master of breaking and entering. He had a real technique.

My favorite vampire movie is a really old, silent film made in 1915, saw it a couple of times on tv, but can't remember the name. It was shown on one of the channels that shows old movies. My favorite creature movie is John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), I saw that movie several times at the theater, bought the video, soundtrack album, and got to meet my favorite actor from the film, David Clennon. He reserved tickets for me to go to a play of his too, and I couldn't go, bummer!

I am going solo too, my Mom who lives in CA wanted to go so bad, but due to surgeries and complications for the last several months, there's not a chance. Bummer for her. My dad had a heart attack a year ago, and she didn't get to go last year either.

I don't remember Nightmare Theater, but I do remember Creature Feature hosted by Wolfman Jack in the early 70's. The Giant Spider Invasion came out in 1975 when I was 11 and I had my older friends take me to the theater to see it. They were in their 20's and  couldn't believe what I dragged them to see. I never knew that was a Volkswagen in a giant spider costume, lol! I read in an article that if you see Halloween 1, 2, 4, and H2O, that's all you need to see, you're set. I see Halloween III Season Of The Witch got a really bad rap here. The first time I saw it in 1982, I hated it, but later on I liked it because of Dan O'Herily. He was good looking. Gerard, my little girl's father worked with Ed Wood years ago. I love hearing about him, he was a trip! Here's a couple more movies to add to the "bad" horror list, The Frozen Dead, and Chopping Mall.  :o
