I was thinking the same thing about the diary. I kept seeing Mrs. Barnabas Collins, Mrs. Julia Collins, Mrs. Julia Hoffman-Collins, Barnabas and Julia Collins, etc, etc, etc, written in the margins. And the ever present question " Does he like me?"

Birdie---I will never tell if I ever had one of those diaries.

Thanks for the kind words. Could not agree with you more some people should not be parents. Yiks, do I talk about my family too much! Sorry... I certainly didn't mean to raze you too much about the kid thing. I guess it is a sign of the times how much our lifes have changed since watching The Beatles that fateful night so long ago.
i want you to know how much I enjoy your posts and appreciate your wit.

Hard to believe I remember watching "Ed Sullivan" so well that night. I was seven and the memory is so very clear. Now my kids are older than that. My oldest will be 20 in a few days. My husband is at a hockey game with six eleven year old boys. Another birthday celebration thing. I bet he never guess what he would be doing 38 years later. Just imagine Ringo six little monsters. God Bless the man. Now when you are enjoying a tug of war with your pooch think about that.lol.

Great thoughts.

Current Talk '02 I / Wondering.......

When did they decide to keep Barnabas as a main charactor? Was it after yesterday's episode? A sudden change of story line. His telling of the Josette story being so very different made me wonder. Also wondering if the plan had been orginally to have Burke return. It is a very typical device in the soaps to have a charactor have a accident with no body found to return.

Thinking about this keeps me from worring about the real world. You know the stuff, family illness, should I look for a new job, should I clean my house, should I go to the market, etc, etc, etc,

As my husband says invite people over--you might just clean the house.l0l

I thought the same thing also. Julia could have walked her through her mind, also that would have been just as effective. Also what was up with Barnabas's green face. His hands were a normal color. I found that a bit odd.

I can't believe she could fall in love with him the way he treats her. Makes you kind of wonder what is going on in her head. What would make an intelligent woman fall for a guy who threatens, treats her like dirt, never has a kind word for her. There is a strong case for help if I ever saw one. At this point I see no basis for her attraction. Barney doesn't even waste any of the charm he oozes on everyone else on her

Interesting, very interesting

Don't laugh when I saw the skirt/lounging dress I remember my mother having one very similar. In fact we had family photos taken with her sporting this lovey creation. Hers was more pink in the skirt. Just try to picture it.lol

Keep your spirits up. We had an ice storm last Thursday night/Friday here in the Northeast. Nothing like what you had. I remember a snow storm a few years ago, when we were without power for the whole weekend. I know how you feel, it get old real fast. We were just about ready to check out hotels. I know I would not care for the Old House in the winter. I would miss all my comforts. Good luck. Stay safe.

Ringo,
Collinwood must have been having power surges. I noticed the lights get brighter several times when Woodward was searching Julia's room. Anyone else notice the other green suit in her closet. I guess find a style, color, and buy several of the same thing. Reminds me of a Dr. I know who I have seen only in one style gray pants. We hoped he just had several of the same ones and that wasn't the same pair of pants everyday. Yuk!

I loved The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Go Pats!
Birdie--who will be at a nieghbors partying on Sunday. The flying nun will be in New Orleans. My son says it will be an awesome birthday if the Patriots win. Last year he asked for House of Dark Shadows. This year football. Go figure.

I also can't believe the talk he had with David. A real doctor would have put the boy at ease but not have gone into so much detail. Why would he give David more to think about and worry about.

Hello confide in the child!

That explains a lot of things. You did sound like a little monster. I am so glad my children have never pulled the stuff I did, or their father.

My sister in law won tickets to the Super Bowl game. That was even before the Patriots were in the gsme. Those nuns have all the luck.

Go Pats!
