Ringo,
Got an e-mail from her.  She is still in the holding pattern.  Due just about any day. I asked her to let us know when "Tommy" makes his arrival.

Jennifer,
My mother thinks I am nuts for still watching DS never mind that I dragged my family to the festival last summer.  Luckily, she had her own portable TV in the kitchen so I had free reign as a child to the "big" TV in the living room.  I use to watch it first at I think 3;30 than a very fuzzy episode at 4;00 from some station out of the bunny ears range.  Of course, one of the shows was from the day before but I didn't care.  She was cool though and let me decorate my room in posters from l6 mag. of my DS crushes.
It is kind of strange for my extented family to know I am still a "Shadows" fan.  Family, friends, co-workers think it is a little bit over the top, but they figure we all have our little oddities.

Vam,

I love the reference to "Top Cat".  Could not agree more that he would be perrrrfect for Quention.  I guess I am old enough to remember that cartoon.  It was my favorite.  Did you know that it was taken from the show Sq. Bilko?  Just a bit of unimportant trivia.  Oh yes, I still remember the theme song.

Top Cat, Top, Cat must friends get to call him T.C......

Side kick Bennie the Ball

If I can remember this stuff why can't I remember where I put my keys.

I guess I would have to say Barnabas because I do look forward to the episodes he is in.  What a hard poll!  This is a fantastic story line with wonderful charactors.  Everyone else who has posted has brought up great points.  Even though I watched in the 60's I didn't start until the pre-Quentin story line.  I am loving 1795!  I think I might have said this before. :).  Looking forward to tomorrow episode.  My fingers are crossed that the VCR is working properly.  A big sign will be on the T.V. not to touch as I will be leaving for work before everyone else leaves for work/school.

Regardless, he seems much more relaxed as Jeremiah. Don'tcha think?

In total agreement. He is much more likeable in this role. I think alot has to do with it. His taking over from Mitch Ryan could not have been fun for him. You have to put some blame on the writing the lines they gave him as Burke that made him seem so obnoxious.

The timing is off but I don't think it would have been unheard of to have stopped in Paris for Josette's trosseau. Poor Angie most likely had to take care of both ladies as she seems to have been the only servant they brought with them.

I noticed the portrait also. Thought it was a bit odd. Oh well, things change daily on DS and in the "real" world.

Patti,
Calm Down. That said. Everything is going to work out fine. I remember a week before my due date wishing the whole thing was over with. Being preggo's was not my idea of a good time. Can't believe I did it four times. Who is more stupid Vicki or me? O.K. don't answer that I don't want to know. Serves me right for marring an Irish man. By the way his name is Tom. My husband would say you picked a great name for your little guy. Keep your spirits up.

I hope it is behind you soon, and you hold your little one in your arms. We will look forward to hearing all about this "adventure" in your life.

Current Talk '02 I / How Long Would it be before.....

Here is a poll, Julia99 You are ususally the poll person. How long do you thing it would have taken Barnabas to resume his affair with Angie, if he had married Josette and Angie had not gone on to do all those "wonderful" things she is so good at.?

My own opinion is he would have given in to temptation a few months after he finally married Josette. There was so much passion between him and Angie. Lets face it she was there. An interesting idea for yet another parallel time.

This is the first time I have seen these episodes and I have to say I am loving it.

Oh Yes, I held many a seance around the dinning room table. For some reason we were always trying to contact Sharon Tate. It must have been shortly after her murder. I am afraid we didn't have much success, but a lot of fun.

Another off topic. My mother was very sick this last week and I had to bring her to the hospital.{She came home yesterday and is on the mend.} The TV in the hospital only got 5 channels. Somehow we caught you guessed it John E. This gave my mom a chuckle. The next day we were still laughing over him and the crossing over thing. Little did we know the lady in the next bed was listening and she had a terminal illness. I felt like a crumb. She did find our family amusing in her last hours. The poor thing crossed over that night.

My mother has been interested in pschics all her life. She has gone to some and brought me along. One palm reader was so good I never went to another. It kind of scared me.

Birdie--who would like to acknowledge the presence of a person who's name starts with a T. Oh ya, that is the guy standing behind me who want to use the computer

Your post reminded me of being ,yes, I admitt an underage drinker,. I think I had someone pick me up a bottle of port. Somehow DS might have been the reason behind that. I do remember not thinking much of it at the time finally I decided Port Wine Cheese was better. I never tried Brandy. By that time I am sure I had discovered much more tasty drinks. It make you think Vicki ordered scotch, todays woman would have done white wine. Back in the 60th hard liq. was more popular.

Birdie--who now can maybe handle one possibly two drinks, but talks a good game.
