Current Talk '02 II / Re: Have A Great Weekend!
« on: July 27, 2002, 04:32:17 AM »
Same to you Donna, I hope you and everybody else has a great weekend. Here in Las Vegas, it's 105 degrees. I was out in my pool and spa most of the day. While my daughter's at school, I take advantage of the relaxation and quiet. When she's out there it's all play time. Tomorrow, I am going shopping to buy her birthday presents.  :)

Adam certainly thought the book of love poems, and Freud's book were important.

Diana Walker did as well as could be expected.

I think so too. She also looked good with Craig Slocum, she should've been Harry Johnson's girlfriend, she was a lot nicer!

I loved Craig Slocum's scenes today, he looked so handsome! I just wish he hadn't worn that sweater over that red paisley shirt, that red shirt with his red hair would've really been hot!  :-*

But as a wee-widdo-kid when I first watched it, the one character that absolutely terrified me was the ghost of Jeremiah.  That Evenlyn-Ankers-chasing mummy all dolled up in bloody bandages with a smooshed-up face scared the bejeepers outta me.

The one I remember the most from my childhood, is Evan Hanley, with the distorted face and popped out eyeball. I was about 6 years old at the time.

Point of curiosity - you say that you shut down access to guests, but when I checked who was logged in, there were guests listed

They were members who logged out but hadn't left the board yet.

I wonder if that ring he mentioned, is one of the original Barnabas Collins rings, that you could get for a nickel and a gum wrapper back in the 60's, and now sells for $600 on ebay.  ?!?

I like the name Lucretia, it reminds me of my favorite song by The Sisters Of Mercy, "Lucretia My Reflection". Dance the ghost with me.

I thought I had a huge Dark Shadows collection, but it's nothing in comparison to your Beatles collection, Ringo. What a trip, thanks for sharing! I used to listen to their music a lot in the 70's. I had some of their albums and 45's. My favorite was the White Album. Now, I have some cd's, Beatles #1 Hits, and a couple by George Harrison, and Ringo Star. John Lennon was murdered the year I graduated from highschool. My class song was a song by him called "Imagine". The words to his song are in my graduation program book.

Harry would go to Las Vegas and stay, and never leave. He'd bring luggage by Ricardo Beverly Hills, with his wardrobe. He'd meet a girl who lives there (hint), they'd hit it off and go to a wedding chapel. Harry found Paradise!  :-*

does anyone else think that Maggie was manipulated way too easily into considering that Joe's got somebody on the side?

Yes, I do but, Joe does have somebody on the side, just not what Maggie thinks. It is in fact worse!

You'd have thought that Nicholas would have been in his robe, slippers and jammies (battleship gray, of course!).

No, actually I think corpse grey would look better on him!  ;D
