I love these tidbits, but it just isn't reconcilable with what we learn in 1840, i.e. that Angelique was formerly Miranda du Val, who lived in 1692 (I think it was).  The sequence also makes clear that she did not die and was not later reincarnated as Angelique on Martinique!

That's just it, though: it's not necessarily supposed to be reconcilable.  What happened in parallel time doesn't have to be consistent with that of regular/normal/reference (take your pick) time.  PT is all about different paths/choices the characters took as opposed to the time-travel story of 1795.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)

I don't know which episode or source you're referring to, but #210 on dvd clearly indicates 1830.

Joshua's coffin is 3rd on the right; however, in a later episode, isn't that where Sarah's is?  That crypt must be haunted!   ;)

My DVD player is from RCA. I did try playing all the discs
from the DS 4 pk. None would work. A message came
up the the DVDs were not compatible. I played
a DVD I had rented that day after that and it worked.
I never had this happen before. And I have bought
and rental many DVDs.
I'll return the DVD tomorrow. They only had one other
set at the Best Buys.

How old is your player?  If it's a first generation RCA, then I can understand why:  my first was such a RCA and it had tons of compatability problems.  I got rid of it and bought a Panasonic which I've been very happy with.  So I truly sympathize with your situation  :(  I hope your machine is still under warranty.

BTW: no problems with the SE-disc either.  :)

For me it's always back to #210.  I love those early episodes.

And I wish I owned the Revival Series.  From the little I saw of it, I remember it was quite good:  faster paced and stronger sexuality (for those who like such things  ;)

My set works bee-u-tee-ful-lee.  :)

What model/make of player do you have?  Do all 4 discs not play?  Try some other dvd's you have just to make sure your player is still healthy.

You can always exchange them for another set just to make sure.

According to the Mars/Venus guy and my own personal experience (alas, I came of age in the seventies sexual revolution), if a man does not love you before sex takes place, he never will.

LOL!  There's someone with the credentials you should be listening to!  ::)

I was afraid this topic would come up at some point  :P

There may be evidence to the contrary, but is it not possible that vampires in DS go to the bathroom?  After all, as a vampire Barnabas drank (booze included), ate, and had a heartbeat.  I see no reason why the "old house" would not have had a "portable" bathroom (guess what one of Willie's jobs would have been?  :P) somewhere, just like much smaller houses with no plumbing had.  Also, winter climate would have necessitated it.

As for Adam, I can't bring myself to answer further...  :P

LOL!  My favorite is Jason McGuire's "I don't understands".  He must have said it a dozen times in reference to Willie's change of behavior after Barnabas arrived.  And not to mention everyone else in response to Maggie's sickness and disappearance.

Now there's just one thing I don't understand -- oh, never mind.  :)

Ah, hum. . no way is an educated, lovely woman who saves your ass anytime you need it, 2nd best. . .Julia is tops. . B is just dumb too see it at this point (as he is too dumb to see many things on DS-luv him as we do). . .and of course. . it helped fuel the show for 4 years. . this love thing. . . And remember. . **SPOILER** she's about to be hunky Tom Jenning's first choice for dinner.. lol!

Hmmm...here's a woman who's so obsessed with him that she'll do literally anything to keep him in her sights...in my books this is a SCARY woman who would not serve B-Man well as a mate -- or anyone else for that matter!  How would B. get out of the relationship if he wanted to without incurring her wrath (of a woman scorned)?

No offense, Julia99, but apart from all the romanticizing that goes on here regarding B & J, seriously, this is not a match made in heaven  :P

There's the other tragedy! Julia Hoffman has been waiting for him to see that she is that someone special, but he's too wrapped up in the past to see it. Sometimes happiness is right under our nose and we don't even know it.

I'm sympathetic toward BC.  If I had spent nearly 200 years couped up in a coffin then gotten a second chance, I wouldn't want to settle for second best.  ;D

As for the Collins Mosoleum.....you all know we never get to see the rest if it....I have always assumed that there is a wall on the other side of Sarah's grave.

If you've seen the early Barnabas episodes, you'll remember Jason searching for Willie in the mausoleum. If there's a wall next to Sarah's coffin, then Jason (and others) must like to stare intently at walls as if he can see things in them.  ;)   Nah, there's gotta be more space in that crypt than they're showing us.  :)

« on: July 04, 2002, 12:13:10 AM »
On a similar VEIN, there's this cemetary I walk thru near work, and just last week I stopped to read two grave stones that were near each other:  one was inscribed "Collins" and the other "Stoddart"!  :o

Ok, obviously I haven't seen the entire series  :D, but I'm wondering where her body lies?  Is it in the mausoleum on Eagle Hill?

And speaking of which, just how big is that place anyway?  I've only ever seen the usual 3 coffins...I'd suspect there are supposed to be more lurking in the wings, seemingly enough to fill a shopping mall judging by the way visitors stop, peer, and stare intently camera-side!  ;)  Funny how they never venture that way, tho!  LOL

Don't think it'll be Moltke. She's too worried about people asking her inappropriate questions about her relationship with Claus Von Bulow...and honestly, who could blame her.

Geez, is that what everybody here really wants to know about?  Am I the only one who couldn't care less about that aspect of her life?  ;)

My stab at it is that the special surpise will be Collinwood -- i.e, the con will take place there!  (Yeah, right...dream on...  ::)
