***Spoilers****

Okay, so Chris is the older of the twins, but what about their father?  Wouldn't he have been an older son or an only son who in turn passed it down to his son? Could the curse have skipped a generation? The lineage, family tree thing is very confusing! ::)

Chris' mother was the daughter of Quentin's daughter Lenore.  Chris' father was a Jennings and not subject to the curse since he wasn't a Collins.  Lenore had another daughter who was Joe Haskell's mother.  Chris was the first male Collins in Quentin's lineage subject to the curse.

Maybe Barnabas, since he was still alive in 1967/1968, retained his thoughts of the original events while history changed? Because wasn't there proof that Vicki replaced Phyllis in time, like the bracelet (I think) that Joe found in the old Collinsport courthouse, the book she took back, and the writing in the history book (I'm assuming there was writing in it other then from Reverand Trask . . . like didn't she read something about the family governess [possibly Vicki now?] being hanged?

I always wondered about that.  After the seance wouldn't Barnabas then remember Vicki and what happened to her?  I think in the remake he did remember her.  In the last scene when she came back from the past and looked at him he had a strange, guilty look on his face.

My husband also thought that she said cell phone.

We always say that Roger reminds us of my husband's brother, who is just as pompous, so we really cracked up when she said he turned off his phone.  That's what he does at night, he's too important to disturb.

What a great story!

Thanks Jennifer.  This board has brought back so many great memories for me.  It's fun to relive childhood feelings again.

Not just Julia.  That's the only place I have ever seen Barnabas sleep in other than his coffin.

Not that I mind looking at Joe's bear chest, but you would think that they would by now take off his ripped open shirt and give him one of Barnabas'.  It must be really uncomfortable having those long sleeves and the rest of it open with the itchy looking afgan over him.

My father had an autobody shop in Queens, NY during that time and sometimes he would work on celebrities cars.  One day he came home and said he had an actor from Dark Shadows car, but didn't  remember his name, but knew it wasn't Barnabas since he had seen him on the show.  He said he would get me his autograph.  I remember being so excited about it.  I was hoping it was Quentin since he was the love of my life at the time.  Well, I was quite disappointed when he came home with the autographed photo and it was of Roger Davis!  Not one of my favorites.  I didn't let on to my father though.  Still, I wish I had it now along with my trading cards, Barnabas Collins game, Quentin post cards and 45 record of Quentin's theme.  No wonder I don't throw anything away now.

I've been thinking the same thing.  Also in the past few weeks Julia slept in it and Eve spent some time in there too.  Do they ever change the bedding? Yuck! :P

It cracked me up when Stokes said that she committed every crime, I mean come on "every" crime?!?

Also, who put the black pantyhose on her or the blue eyeshadow and false eyelashes.  Unless the original dweller of that body was buried that way.

Julia explained yesterday that Eve was bandaged up to prevent the same type of scaring that Adam had.  Now, how the bandages help, I have no idea.

I couldn't understand that either.  It may prevent burns, but the scars are obviously stitches so bandaging wouldn't prevent that.

I had completly forgotten about the Quentin post cards until I read this topic.  I remember now they were my most prized possession at the time, even more than the Barnabas Collins game.  Thanks for bringing back the memory.  I can see my 11 year-old-self sitting on my living room floor looking at them after my father bought them for me. :)

I love the Prisoner.   It still holds up after all these years.  The one question I have always had about the show is Number Six John Drake?

For me it was the ghost of Gerard.  When I first saw it when I was a kid it scared me so much.  Last year when I saw it again it still scared me just as much.  The green light he was always in along with that evil look on his face would just give me the shivers.
