Current Talk '07 I / Re: Petition to Urge SoapNet to Air DS
« on: January 28, 2007, 02:10:18 PM »
PLEASE, folks, sign again if you have more than one email,(but use a different name for multiple signs)
and tell your friends!
This can happen!!!!!
I am troubled by this.  With the greatest of respect, David, may I humbly suggest that encouraging people to sign more than once is not really a good idea, nor does in encourage the signers to take the petition seriously.

And a general question:  Who exactly owns DS these days with regard to broadcast/syndication rights?  Is the show even available to be broadcast if some station wanted to?

I always wear skirts.  It's not a fashion statement; I'm simply too lazy to deal with two types of clothing, so pants don't happen.  I never think about how cold my legs are; I'm always too busy thinking about my poor frozen toes.
Too lazy to deal with two types of shoe too, so it's just open-toed for you?  >:D

Ok, so we have hellmouths in Sunnydale, Cleveland, and Collinsport, eh? ;D

Current Talk '07 I / Re: Eve's obsession....
« on: January 28, 2007, 02:13:46 AM »
And while we're on the subject of Eve, what was up with her silky black evening lounge wear?? Not exactly the thing to go traipsing around the woods in during Fall in Maine... or when you're hitching a ride from Collinwood back to Nicholas' house by the sea.
Heh, I thought it was awfully thoughtful of Julia, once she finished stitching the old girl up to make sure she was fully dressed and perfectly made up. (I wonder if she just used the dress one of the bodies Willie dug up had on?)

Carolyn wore slacks sometimes, didn't she?  Especially when she was dating Buzz (and riding his hog).

D is for diaphanous -  Vicki's night gown (and Leona Eltridge's as well.  Nicholas must have conjured up the same one for Leona that Vicki had ;) )

Liz:  (thinking) all right you pompous windbag, try this on for size:  silent but deadly.

OMG - I completely forgot that was on SNL. Probably why I was laughing was because I was having a flashback without realizing it.  ;D
It was also used more recently on an episode of Tripping the Rift

The cover is of Vicki running from Collinwood on the bottom half of the case. The top half has a nightview of Collinwood that is pretty much obscured by the DS logo. An orange-ish banner with the words The Beginning in it separates the two images.
Cool!  Not to far away from my guess then! :) Looking forward to adding it to my collection one day

Current Talk '07 I / Re: DS The Salem Branch - Sales info?
« on: January 26, 2007, 11:55:38 PM »
It's a good thing you're talking about sales and not the written word....
I got a signed copy when she came to Memphis, but I have not read it yet.

Not as good as Angelique's Descent?
