Once again I'm without Internet on my computer - and because whatever happened took place late last night, I can't have my provider's support check it out until Monday because they don't work weekends. So, tomorrow we'll be left to enjoy tomorrow's installment of the hoDS slideshow...

While it's certainly nice that it finally worked for you, I kind of liked this initial post.  You're so expert in all things computer, that it was rather amazing to find you in a predicament like that, like us "normal" people.

This TV is just another retro channel.  One of our local broadcast stations has This as it's secondary channel, one has MeTV, and the third used to have Decades, now switched to Start.

I came across the article you linked in reply #94 and was about to post it here, when I discovered you already had it!  While still not thrilled, I felt better about the story line they adopted after reading it.

Wow!!  Lots of big surprises - but I'm not really happy at the direction they took.

I remember THE CLONING OF CLIFFORD SWIMMER from when it was originally on and I think 1 or more repeats.  I'm pretty sure I liked it, but by now I don 't really remember what it was about.  I had no idea Karlen was in it, although I might have realized it at the time.

I'm sure it must be similar with everyone - there are the streets in one's own neighborhood or other areas that one frequents, and so they are very familiar; and then other streets a bit further away, that perhaps one occasionally uses and so is familiar with them.  Then, there are other streets that one may have never actually used, but from maps or hearing of things in the news, there is some familiarity with their existence.

There are some around here with the word "Hollow" in their name - Sleepy Hollow, Curry Hollow, Camp Hollow, etc.  But, it was only recently that there have been some ads on television for a local business, the kind where the announcer shouts the phone number or address.  I had never heard of this particular road, but when looking it up, I discovered that it's not too far.

Anyway, the whole point of this here is that the name is Hope Hollow Road - and I just couldn't get over the combination of Hope with Hollow - especially since I had never heard of it before!!

Freeform is what used to be called ABC Family.

I'm almost certain that they have commercials.  I've been trying to get a full (non-commercial) version of it again, but any channel that has it seems to be one with commercials.  I don't actually object to having the commercials, as long as I could be sure there would be no cuts, but I always assume there must be.

I looked up some recaps of the last episode and one of them compared the premise to the old show "Early Edition," when a cat delivered a newspaper to a man every day - and it was the next day's paper, and he would try to prevent tragedies that were to happen.  I had completely forgotten that there was such a series.

I was checking the listings for Decades to see if it switched to Start, and while it's still listed as Decades, as of the 3rd all of the listings were different than usual, so I'm assuming it's the Start lineup.  And, it turns out that there are 3 episodes of "Early Edition" every day!  In case anyone is interested, it starts at 2 AM Tuesday.  It was really a funny coincidence seeing it mentioned in connection with Elementary and just then I see that it's starting to be shown.

I've been wanting to ask about this.  We're one of the ones that's switching from Decades to Start.  I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Start.  I really don't watch much Decades, but from time to time they have something I want.  But, maybe Start will be good!  Our "This" switched to "Cozi" and that's had some good things.

Interesting point, Gothick - I never thought of that one.
