MY THOUGHT ON THE FEST:
I noticed the registration process was much quicker than in 2000.security measures will have to be addressed. as much as i hate the thought of going through a metal detector before enterng the fest. the festival staff seems to be resting on the fact that in 20 years theres never been an incident like on friday night. this is wrong. im getting e-mails from fans having 2nd thoughts about ever attending a fest after learning about the lack of security. the festival actually BANNED an individual from ever attending a festival cause of his behavior and he did nothing even close to what mr. webber did. ive heard stories of another individual who was coming close to being banned before the webber incident. in think if these individuals have been or may be barred, then i think mr. webber is a much stronger candidate.i was wondering what became of the CODE OF CONDUCT that jim was going to print in the fest program. it was gong to address the way fans treated each other. i tink after what took place, it was a huge error to omit this and now should be modified to include fans behavior torwards DS stars as well.
i did enjoy davids moms stories and dennis patricks jokes even though they were adult oriented and lots of children were present.i thought the skits were ok but nothing like the fantastic AUSTIN POWERS spoof from 2000. fans can be thankful that the fest is over and u all got back safely cause the breaking news of todays incident at LAX would have left many of u stranded.

KLS was wearing mouse ears cause the festival is taking place near a very famous amusement park in anaheim, ca. think about it. that nut apologized to KLS today, then pulled the same stunt on DAVID SELBY! it did not take place on stage so i didnt witness it. i could hear the guy screaming.! will put a couple more pics up on the site before going to sleep, but dont expect too many. david h. mom was there today to tell everyone that she was NOT a stage mother like we heard all these years.

36 years ago today, abc tv broadcast the 1st episode of DARK SHADOWS. it replaced the soap NEVER TOO YOUNG written by ron sproat.  

i was reluctant to purchase the dvd due to problems i had with the previous dvd released by mpi. it wont play the nancy barrett tour segment.but i purchased the episode dvd anyway. i have not watched everything in its entirety but i did put each disc in and tested each episode by playing just the 1st few seconds. i did not experience any problems so far. u may want to complain to samsung. my dvd is zenith and i complained and they gave me a newer model dvd player for free! unfortunately even with the new player, it still wont play that segment but maybe u will have better luck.

but u will have to squnt to see it cause sci-fi squashes the credits in half to make room for those all important promos.

theres also a write-up in the current tv guide. i would like to know if anyone has had any problems playing the dvd like i had with the previously released ds dvd that wont play the nancy barrett segment.

ive watched it since day 1 and i love it. ive met just about the entire cast and discovered that jade harlow who plays jessica is a ds fan and attended the night of dark shadows 30th anniversary showing recently at the vista theatre in hollywood. they even played ds music on passions recently.
